在刀片服务器、数据中心等虚拟环境下,对服务的不间断保障能力有很高的需求,因此,需要在动态迁移中虚拟机能不间断访问I/O等设备。对此,提出了设备代理机制。设备代理机制主要包括设备代理、远程设备访问和设备动态交换三个模块。设备代理模块主要处理在动态迁移期间的I/O事务和虚拟设备状态;远程设备访问模块让虚拟机像从本地一样从远程访问I/O等设备;设备动态交换模块允许虚拟机重新动态地定向到物理设备。实验表明,设备代理机制确实在迁移期间保证了I/O服务不间断,并提高了其服务质量。  相似文献

The concept of a virtual lecture theatre has been realised at the Faculty of Economics, Business Administration and Social Sciences in Nuremberg since 1995. Interdisciplinary courses are being held for local students at one faculty and are interactively broadcast for students joining in from remote locations. Various demands concerning the teleteaching environment have to be met in order to enable remote students to attend lectures virtually and interact synchronously by sending contributions via conferencing tools to the central lecture theatre. In addition, recorded lectures are digitised and stored on a multimedia server to provide asynchronous access for all students, constituting a “lecture on demand” system. Furthermore, remote students are able to co-operate virtually with other students, i.e. join exercise groups by means of video and audio communication, share screens and applications, exchange documents and software, etc. To fulfil the corresponding multimedia communication needs, a broadband ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) network connects the lecture theatre in Nuremberg with remote lecture theatres, remote conferencing rooms and separate workplaces at the university or at home.  相似文献

Blended synchronous learning (BSL) represents several contexts that enable to bring remote students into the classroom, in real time, by the means of videoconferencing, web conferencing and virtual world. As BSL seems to be more and more implemented in many higher education institutions, especially in the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and given the recent interest and scarce published research in BSL, more studies are needed on this kind of learning. The purpose of this research was to explore students and instructors perspective regarding their experience in BSL, according to three dimensions: pedagogy, technology and organization/logistics. To meet the study objective, a qualitative methodology was adopted. The study participants were remote students (n = 4) and face-to-face students (n = 4) enrolled in a graduate program in education offering only blended synchronous courses, and instructors (n = 5) in this program. Semi-structured interviews were selected as the data collection method. Nine sub-themes in reference to the three dimensions emerged from the study participants. They have also highlighted some challenges associated with BSL. The results reported in this study should provide faculties and higher education administrators with additional information and guidance, based on empirical data, on the use of BSL if they wish to implement it in academic programs. Moreover, in regard to the challenges revealed by the study participants, the results will permit to surpass the obstacles when implementing BSL successfully.  相似文献

On the selection of the mode cut-off number in component mode reduction   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Dynamic analysis of very large and complicated FE structures such as FE full-vehicle structures are mainly performed with synthesized, component mode-reduced sub-models with common interfaces. The theory of component mode reduction (CMR) is well known, but it is not a simple application in real-live analyses. One of its problems, discussed in this paper, has not appeared in literature or in commercial software releases and their reference guides yet, although, in advanced computer-aided engineering, most dynamic analysts are confronted with it. The problem is related to the mode cut-off number in CMR and its enormous influence on the components reduced representation and the response solution. The mode cut-off number is the number of retained mode shapes from the components in CMR and the frequency corresponding to the highest mode is called the cut-off frequency. Ultimately the response quantities in excited vibrations, predicted from the reduced order model, are only as good as the component modes and the system modes. A proper application of the CMR technique is one of the most important success factors in today’s analysis quality in the advanced product development process across many industries. Therefore, the mode cut-off number should be considered to be a measure of analysis quality. The paper illustrates the effect of the mode cut-off number in an example from automotive industry: CMR of a body-in-white component and system mode computation of the reduced system. A list of guide lines concludes the discussion and some proposals for a stable analysis process and optimal performance are also given.  相似文献

针对传统Client/Server计算模式远程数据库访问的不足,提出了一种集成Spring和Aglets的远程数据库访问技术。将移动代理Aglets运用到远程数据库访问系统中,能够明显的提高通信效率,改善系统性能,从而进一步利用Spring作为整个系统的基础框架,将系统的各个组成部分都纳入到Spring控制反转(IoC)容器中进行统一管理,可提高软件的可维护性和灵活性。实验结果表明,与传统Client/Server计算模式的远程数据库访问方法对比,该技术具有明显的性能优势。  相似文献

The objective of this project, called the Experimentalist's Virtual Acquisition Console (EVAC), was to demonstrate a prototype system for using virtual environments that would allow a researcher access the hardware in a remote experimental laboratory over high-speed networks, in order to control remote instrumentation. We wanted to give the researcher tools that would not only allow for complete control of the imaging system but also provide the potential for collaboration with researchers at distant sites. We targeted three imaging instruments, all located at the Beckman Institute for Advanced and Technology: a magnetic resonance imaging system, a transmission electron microscope and a scanning tunneling microscope. Our goal was not to control all three instruments simultaneously but rather to demonstrate that our unified virtual environment interface could be adapted to these widely different imaging devices. In building this demonstration, we faced many problems commonly encountered in developing a remote interface to a new instrument. These included the lack of any standard interface to the devices, the necessity of dealing with proprietary software, and the problem of developing a distributed model so that the instruments could be controlled over the network. Affective computing, as a novel paradigm, adds a new feature into the human-computer interactions era that brings emotions into the process of design and evaluation. Such condition influences digital games’ not only structural dimension but also content and evaluation areas. This study aims to evaluate the effect of using emotions in the form of facial expressions as a User Interface (UI) and the input of a system in virtual scenarios. After studying the findings and methods of previous researches, a conceptual framework for Affective User Interface Design and Evaluation (AFFUIDE) has been proposed. Then, a game in the genre of shoot ‘em up (called Facial Battle) in four interaction modes has been developed. The evaluation of this study has been performed in terms of the players’ performance and experience. For this purpose, 18 male students of the Multimedia Faculty of Tabriz Islamic Art University took part in the experiments, who were asked to play all four modes of the game. Then, after analyzing the normalization of collected data, one-way ANOVA and U Mann Whitney tests were used for the statistical analysis. The findings indicate that the Traditional UI is the most usable and the Full Affective UI has the best sense of fun and user experience among other methods. However, the hybrid mode (affective shooting), is not only usable as traditional mode, but it also works better in terms of user experience compared to other modes.

针对当前实体实验室建设成本高、开放时间不灵活等问题,设计了一种基于X3DOM引擎的3D虚拟实验室系统. 该系统采用浏览器/服务器架构,其中,服务器端主要提供实验室场景、实验仪器模型和XML模板数据文件等数据存储与访问服务;浏览器端采用MVC设计模式,根据组件化开发的思想,采用三维视图,建立了可扩展的组件库. 以计算机网络课程中的Ping实验为例,对设计实现的虚拟实验室进行了验证,结果表明,该系统能够有效满足实验教学的要求.  相似文献

与传统的实验系统相比,基于网络远程数据采集的虚拟实验系统,能降低实验室建设成本,它使课堂教学更形象、生动,能更好地实现理论教学与实践相结合。该文提出基于DataSocket远程数据采集技术,构建了多层分布式网络远程数据采集体系结构模式。通过虚拟议器设计,在电子线路实验中得以应用,有较好的效果。  相似文献

介绍了数据挖掘算法的两种传统数据访问方式及其缺点,提出了新的数据访问方式——基于Cache的数据挖掘算法的数据访问方法,该方法提供了三种模式缓存数据:单列模式、多列模式、混合模式,以适用多种数据挖掘算法的需要。设计实现了这种数据挖掘专用数据访问组件,该组件兼顾了传统访问方式的优点,实验证明在占用有限系统资源的情况下,保证了高效的数据访问效率并支持对海量数据的访问。  相似文献
