本文给出了开槽波导双环铁氧体移相器的超越方程,采用典型的参数,计算了差相移、插入损耗和λ/4阻抗变换器的尺寸。结果表明这种结构移相器的优值和差相移均大于相同条件下的矩形波导移相器。为了验证本文所给出的方程,通过试验测量了相移。试验结果与所给出方程计算的结果基本一致。  相似文献

本文给出介质加载双环背脊波导移相器的传输常数方程,计算了典型参数的相移,和损耗的频率特性。不但给出了最佳的差相移的频率特性,还指出了该器件的优值比普通矩形波导的高,另外,背脊的存在提供了良好的热传导,因此它具更高的平均功率容量。  相似文献

用直线法和横向共振相结合的方法来求含有平行铁氧体及介质片的异形波导的传输特性。计算结果表明,含有铁氧体的脊形波导具有宽频带特性,而含有铁氧体的槽形波导具有较大的差相移,适于做高优值移相器。  相似文献

移相器是一种常用的集成光学结构,其相移值的波长相关性决定了移相器的工作波长范围。针对移相器的波长相关性,文中对两种集成光学移相器设计方案(长度差方案和折射率差方案)所设计的二氧化硅基集成光学移相器进行了实验研究。在马赫-曾德尔干涉仪(MZI)的两干涉臂之间,采用两种移相方案分别设计制作180移相器,通过测试MZI的插入损耗与波长的依赖关系对两种移相器的波长相关性进行了比较。研究结果显示,折射率差方案所设计移相器的工作波长范围大约是长度差方案的1.8~1.9倍。这一实验结果与理论计算吻合,证明了折射率差方案设计的移相器的相移值波长相关性更小,因而具有更宽的工作波长范围。  相似文献

文中介绍了一种E 面波导枝节加载型移相器的设计和制造。该移相器为F 波段45°固定移相器,主 通道采用三阶E 面短路波导枝节加载结构。为了方便测试和未来应用,研制了F 波段E 面波导90°相移电桥功分 器,一路为参考通道,另一路加载45°移相器的移相主通道。对功分器的两通路进行了对比测试,测试结果表明两通 道在100~110 GHz 频段内,相位差45°±2°,差损值低于0. 4 dB。  相似文献

本文报告了H面铁氧体非互易移相器的H面介质加载的研究结果;推导了该器件的差相移近似表达式及差相移频率特性斜率为零时的超越方程。指出这种加载方法能提高器件的差相移。合理选用介质加载材料、尺寸,还可提高它的优值,为研制宽频带大平均功率的相应器件提供了可能。  相似文献

For the purpose of improving the performance charasteristics of the nonreciprocal remanence ferrite phase shifter, a new configuration with a grooved waveguide is proposed and analyzed. Some results calculated as functions of dielectric and ferrite thickness, waveguide dimensions, and frequency are shown and compared as being in good agreement with experiments at the X band. The figure of merit (differential phase shift per insertion loss) and the handling power of the proposed phase shifter are discussed in comparison with those of the conventional waveguide geometry.  相似文献

In this paper, the nodal finite-element method is used to analyze the differential phase shift of a nonreciprocal remanence ferrite phase shifter in a grooved waveguide. Instead of the former twin-slab model, an improved analytical model is adopted, where the effect of every part of a ferrite toroid on the differential phase shift has been considered. This analysis may replace the correcting factor with good agreement with the experimental data. Furthermore, this analysis is employed to investigate the effect of corner chamfering on the figure-of-merit (differential phase shift per decibel insertion loss) of a ferrite phase shifter. Optimum rectangular waveguide E-plane branch guide phase shifters and 180° branch guide couplers are designed with the rigorous method of field expansion into normalized eigenmodes. The design includes both the higher order mode interaction between the step discontinuities and the finite step and branch heights. The phase shifter design applies the Schiffman principle to branch guide couplers where two ports are short-circuited. The 180° coupler design combines the advantage of the broadband potential of multiple-branch couplers with the low-insertion-loss qualities of E-plane stub-loaded phase shifters. A computer-optimized phase shifter prototype for the waveguide Ku-band (12-18 GHz) shows a 90°±1° differential phase shift with reference to an empty waveguide within about 23% bandwidth. Five-branch three-stub coupler prototypes, designed for 3±0.2 dB coupling, for the waveguide Ku- and Ka-bands (26-40 GHz) achieve a 180°±1° differential phase shift at the output ports within about 19% bandwidth, as well as more than 30 dB isolation and return loss. The author presents an electromagnetic mode matching analysis of dual ridged waveguide phase shifters. The waveguide is loaded with a high dielectric material between the ridges, and the troughs are filled with ferrite toroids. The present structure offers nearly twice the bandwidth and less variation in nonreciprocity versus frequency as compared to the conventional dual toroidal phase shifter. An optimum design that maximizes nonreciprocity has been found. Effects of the dielectric constant and the trough dimensions are also presented. A differential phase shift of more than 100°/cm has been predicted for the new phase shifter  相似文献

Ferrite toroidal phase shifters in both rectangular and ridge waveguide were studied theoretically and experimentally. The influences of various parameters on the performance of the phase shifter are calculated and discussed. Theoretical analysis shows that, with proper choice of dimensions, the phase shifter may be made very broadband and the loss of the phase shifter may be reduced 16% when compared to the case using rectangular waveguides. The phase shift versus frequency characteristics of these two models are shown graphically. The loss factors are approximately 0.8-1.0 dB/360°. Rigorous theoretical study of a parallel-plate waveguide fully filled with longitudinally magnetised ferrite has been made possible by the transverse operator formulation. The analysis is extended to a partially filled quasi-TEM structure showing improved performance in differential phase shift. A calculation model for the reduced-height rectangular waveguide phase shifter is obtained by making use of the present analysis. The use of dielectric loading with the ferrites in nonreciprocal transmission lines has becolme quite prevalent. The theoretical analysis of unloaded ferrite phase shifters in rectangular waveguide has been extended to the dielectrically loaded case by Soohoo. The boundary-value problem of ferrite phase shifters in dielectrically loaded coaxial lines, which possesses a transcendental equation similar to the waveguide case, has been throughly discussed by several authors. The present commumcation reports the solution of the boundary-value problem of a dielectrically loaded ferrite phase shifter in rectangular waveguide to yield values of the lossless propagation constant for various slab positions for both directions of propagation. The theoretical values of the differential phase shift for slab positions about the center of the waveguide were compared with the measured values for three different applied magnetic fields.  相似文献

提出了一种双周期性BST电容加载共面波导传输线的移相器结构。基于这种结构设计制作的铁电薄膜移相器较好地解决了整个电路的阻抗匹配问题,其反射损耗的波纹在较宽的工作频带内趋于同一幅度。在沉积有钛酸锶钡(BST)薄膜的氧化镁基片上设计并制作了一个宽带双周期性BST叉指电容加载共面波导移相器,测试结果显示该移相器的反射损耗在0~15GHz内保持在–15dB,其中在14.5GHz处,在30V的外加偏压下其移相能力可达35o。  相似文献
