With a focus on aero‐engine distributed control systems (DCSs) with Markov time delay, unknown input disturbance, and sensor and actuator simultaneous faults, a combined fault tolerant algorithm based on the adaptive sliding mode observer is studied. First, an uncertain augmented model of distributed control system is established under the condition of simultaneous sensor and actuator faults, which also considers the influence of the output disturbances. Second, an augmented adaptive sliding mode observer is designed and the linear matrix inequality (LMI) form stability condition of the combined closed‐loop system is deduced. Third, a robust sliding mode fault tolerant controller is designed based on fault estimation of the sliding mode observer, where the theory of predictive control is adopted to suppress the influence of random time delay on system stability. Simulation results indicate that the proposed sliding mode fault tolerant controller can be very effective despite the existence of faults and output disturbances, and is suitable for the simultaneous sensor and actuator faults condition.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the problem of adaptive output feedback fault tolerant control for a nonlinear hydro‐turbine governing system. A dynamic mathematical model of the system is established, which aims to investigate the dynamic performance of the model under servomotor delay and actuator faults. Then, a fault estimation adaptive observer is proposed to achieve online real‐time diagnosis of system faults. Based on the online fault estimation information, an observer‐based adaptive output feedback fault tolerant controller is designed. Furthermore, under reasonable assumptions, the results demonstrate that the closed‐loop control system can achieve global asymptotic stability by Lyapunov function. Finally, the numerical simulation results are presented to indicate the satisfaction control effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose an actor-critic neuro-control for a class of continuous-time nonlinear systems under nonlinear abrupt faults, which is combined with an adaptive fault diagnosis observer (AFDO). Together with its estimation laws, an AFDO scheme, which estimates the faults in real time, is designed based on Lyapunov analysis. Then, based on the designed AFDO, a fault tolerant actor- critic control scheme is proposed where the critic neural network (NN) is used to approximate the value function and the actor NN updates the fault tolerant policy based on the approximated value function in the critic NN. The weight update laws for critic NN and actor NN are designed using the gradient descent method. By Lyapunov analysis, we prove the uniform ultimately boundedness (UUB) of all the states, their estimation errors, and NN weights of the fault tolerant system under the unpredictable faults. Finally, we verify the effectiveness of the proposed method through numerical simulations.

This paper presents a new fault tolerant controller design method for a class of interconnected non‐Gaussian stochastic distribution system with boundary conditions. In order to obtain the fault estimation value, an observer based fault detection and fault diagnosis algorithms are presented at first, then a collaborative fault tolerant controller is designed based on the adaptive control strategy. Different from most of the existing fault tolerant controllers, when fault occurs the controller need to be reconstructed is for the healthy subsystem in this paper. That is to say, the fault is compensated not by the faulty subsystem itself but by the healthy one. The proposed method is used to a simulation example for demonstration, and the effectiveness is verified.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of adaptive fault‐tolerant control for a class of linear systems with time‐varying actuator faults. The outage and loss‐of‐effectiveness fault cases are covered. An active fault compensation control law was designed in two steps. Firstly, the time‐varying fault parameters were estimated based on a novel adaptive observer. Compared with the traditional adaptive observer, the actuator fault estimations are faster and the high‐frequency oscillations can be attenuated effectively. Such oscillations are usually caused by increasing the gains of adaptive laws to deal with abrupt changes in system dynamics. Then, based on online estimations of the fault parameters, an adaptive fault‐tolerant controller was constructed to compensate for the loss of actuator effectiveness and to eliminate the effect of fault estimation error. The asymptotic stability and an adaptive performance of a closed‐loop system can be guaranteed, even in the case of actuator faults and disturbances. Simulation results are given to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This paper addresses the problem of fault estimation and fault tolerant control for quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle. Firstly, a robust adaptive fault estimation observer (AFEO) is proposed to achieve fault estimation of quadrotor with actuator fault in the presence of external disturbances and parameter uncertainties. Furthermore, based on the estimation of fault, a dynamic output feedback fault tolerant controller (DOFFTC) is designed to stabilise the closed-loop system with faults and uncertainties. Sufficient conditions for the existence of both AFEO and DOFFTC are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of fault estimation (FE) and the active fault tolerant control (FTC) for Takagi–Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with interval time-varying delay and norm-bounded external disturbance. Based on the fast adaptive fault estimation (FAFE) algorithm, our attention focuses on designing an adaptive observer-based controller to guarantee the filtering error system to be asymptotically stable and satisfy theH performance index. By constructing a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional including the information of the lower and upper delay bounds, the sufficient delay-dependent conditions have been established to guarantee the existence of adaptive observer-based controller in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Compared with the constant delay and time-varying delay, the interval time-varying delay is the less conservative form. Furthermore, we make full use of the information of the delay and no terms are ignored when the stability of the system is analysed. In addition, the results for the systems with time-varying structured uncertainties are established. The results of the active FTC are showed in terms of LMIs. Finally, two examples are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

The main aim of this paper is to design an active fault tolerant controller for switched positive linear systems. A theorem is proved for fault and state estimation of switched positive linear systems in terms of matrix inequality by considering average dwell‐time approach. By utilizing the theorem results, not only a fast and exact estimation of fault and state is obtained but also the positivity of state estimation is ensured. The feasibility problem is solved by formulating it into a special sequential optimization problem subject to LMI constraints. Based on the fault estimation information, an observer‐based fault tolerant control guaranties the stability and positivity of the closed‐loop system. Finally, a practical example including a data communication network is presented to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper deals with the fault estimation problem for a class of linear time‐delay systems with intermittent fault and measurement noise. Different from existing observer‐based fault estimation schemes, in the proposed design, an iterative learning observer is constructed by using the integrated errors composed of state predictive error and tracking error in the previous iteration. First of all, Lyapunov function including the information of time delay is proposed to guarantee the convergence of system output. Subsequently, a novel fault estimation law based on iterative learning scheme is presented to estimate the size and shape of various fault signals. Upon system output convergence analysis, we proposed an optimal function to select appropriate learning gain matrixes such that tracking error converges to zero, simultaneously to ensure the robustness of the proposed iterative learning observer which is influenced by measurement noise. Note that, an improved sufficient condition for the existence of such an estimator is established in terms of the linear matrix inequality (LMI) by the Schur complements and Young relation. In addition, the results are both suit for the systems with time‐varying delay and the systems with constant delay. Finally, three numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods and two comparability examples are provided to prove the superiority of the algorithm.  相似文献

The attitude fault‐tolerant control problem for a satellite with reaction‐wheel failures, uncertainties, and unknown external disturbances is investigated in this paper. Firstly, an iterative learning observer (ILO) is proposed to achieve fault detection, isolation, and estimation. Secondly, based on the ILO, a third‐order sliding mode controller is proposed to stabilize the satellite attitude rapidly under unknown external disturbances and reaction‐wheel faults. Thirdly, the asymptotically stability of the ILO and the third‐order sliding mode controller is proved by using the Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, simulation results demonstrate that the proposed control scheme is more effective and feasible by comparing with other fault‐tolerant control approach.  相似文献

The problem of fault estimation for a class of non-uniformly sampled-data systems is investigated from the time delay point of view in this paper.Firstly, the output delay approach is employed to model the sampled-data system as a continuous-time one with time-varying delay output. Then, based on the analysis of the inapplicability of the adaptive fault diagnosis observer in such class of time-delay systems,a novel augmented fault estimation observer design method is proposed to guarantee the exponential convergence of the estimation errors.Furthermore,an extension to the case of time varying fault estimation for the noisy sampled-data systems is studied. Finally, simulation results of a flight control system are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper proposes an integrated fault estimation and fault‐tolerant control (FTC) design for Lipschitz non‐linear systems subject to uncertainty, disturbance, and actuator/sensor faults. A non‐linear unknown input observer without rank requirement is developed to estimate the system state and fault simultaneously, and based on these estimates an adaptive sliding mode FTC system is constructed. The observer and controller gains are obtained together via H optimization with a single‐step linear matrix inequality (LMI) formulation so as to achieve overall optimal FTC system design. A single‐link manipulator example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The problems of fault diagnosis and fault‐tolerant control are considered for systems with measurement delays. In contrast to the present fault diagnosis and fault‐tolerant control approaches, which consider only the input delay and/or state delay, the main contribution of this paper consists of proposing a new observer‐based reduced‐order fault diagnoser construction approach and a design approach to dynamic self‐restore fault‐tolerant control law for systems with measurement delays. First, the time‐delay system is transformed into a delay‐free system in form by a special functional‐based delay‐free transformation approach for measurement delays. Then, the fault diagnosis is realized online via the proposed reduced‐order fault diagnoser. Using the results of fault diagnosis, two dynamic self‐restore control laws are designed to make the system isolated from faults. A numerical example demonstrates the feasibility and validity of the proposed scheme. © 2012 John Wiley and Sons Asia Pte Ltd and Chinese Automatic Control Society  相似文献

This paper focuses on the fault estimation observer design problem in the finite‐frequency domain for a class of Lipschitz nonlinear multiagent systems subject to system components or actuator fault. First, the relative output estimation error is defined based on the directed communication topology of multiagent systems, and an observer error system is obtained by connecting adaptive fault estimation observer and the state equation of the original system. Then, sufficient conditions for the existence of the fault estimation observer are obtained by using a generalized Kalman‐Yakubovich‐Popov lemma and properties of the matrix trace, which guarantee that the observer error system satisfies robustness performance in the finite‐frequency domain. Meanwhile, the pole assignment method is used to configure the poles of the observer error system in a certain area. Finally, the simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This study presents a sensor cascading fault estimation and fault‐tolerant control (FTC) for a nonlinear Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy model of hypersonic flight vehicles. Sensor cascading faults indicate the occurrence of source fault will cause another fault and the interval between them is really short, which makes it difficult to handle them in succession. A novel multidimensional generalized observer is used to estimate faults by integrating constant offset and time‐varying gain faults. Then, a fault‐tolerant controller is used to solve system nonlinearity and sensor fault problems. The observer and controller satisfy the performance index and are robust to external disturbances. A sufficient condition for the existence of observer and controller is derived on the basis of Lyapunov theory. Simulation results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed fault estimation and FTC scheme.  相似文献
