热塑性弹性体(TPE)是一种由橡胶和塑料混合而成的材料,它具有橡胶的力学性能且可用传统的热塑性塑料加工设备,如挤出和注压设备加工。热塑性弹性体中的一种就是非常有发展前途的热塑性硫化胶(TPV),它由完全硫化的橡胶相分散于热塑性塑料相组成的连续母体中而成。连续相通常为聚丙烯,硫化橡胶相是三元乙丙橡胶。这种热塑性弹性体具有极好的橡胶性能,如具有很小的压缩永久变形而表现出优良的密封性能,有橡胶手感及非常好的柔韧性。相对于其他热塑性弹性体,TPV还具有突出的耐热性耐化学腐蚀性和低温性能。 相似文献

本文详细讨论了动态硫化法 PVC 为基础的热塑性弹体(TPE)的配方,制备工艺及其对 TPE 性能的影响,通过加入第三高聚物组份,利用动态硫化法形成了“协同网络结构的 TPE。性能测试表明:该 TPE 的物理机械性能优于 NBR 硫化胶及 NBR/PVC 硫化胶,其高温蠕变性大大提高,并具有优良的重复加工性能,且成本低廉。 相似文献

Dynamically vulcanized thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) blends were first described by Fisher. In the 1960s, the usage of TPE was low. However, the consumption of TPE is increasing today. Due to hard and soft polymer phases in its structure, TPE replaced a lot of materials. TPE materials are preferred today due to their good thermal properties, oxidation resistance, transparency, adhesion, compatibility with other polymers etc. As a result of the studies that were done in 1975, TPV—vulcanized thermoplastic elastomers were developed. In this study, TPV elastomers were produced by forming crosslinks with peroxide from different ratios, of EPDM and PP. Mixing was done with twin screw extruder. After that yield and tensile strength, the modulus of elasticity, % elongation, Izod impact strength, hardness, Melt Flow Index (MFI), Vicat Softening Point, Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT), and density of crosslinks were determined. The morphology and dynamic viscoelastic properties of isotactic polypropylene (PP) blended with oil-free/oil-extended ethylene–propylene–diene (EPDM) rubbers were studied. Unvulcanized and dynamically vulcanized blends with the compositions PP/EPDM = 50/50 and = 30/70 were investigated. The morphology was observed by phase contrasted atomic force microscopy. The dynamic viscoelastic properties were determined with a rheometer of plate–plate configuration. It was shown that the rheological behavior was strongly affected by both the composition and the morphology of the blends. Significant improvement in the flowability of the dynamically vulcanized blends was observed when oil-extended EPDM was used instead of the oil-free version. It was demonstrated that the rheological properties are mostly controlled by the elastomer phase at low frequencies, while in the high-frequency range the influence of PP becomes dominant. The peculiarities in the rheological behavior of the thermoplastic elastomers (uncured blends, TPE) and thermoplastic dynamic vulcanizates (TPV, dynamically cured blends) containing oil-extended EPDMs were traced to a limited compatibility between the PP and EPDM components in the melt. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The present work demonstrates the structure-rheology relationship of novel polyvinylidene fluoride/hydrogenated nitrile rubber blends with special reference to the effect of mixing time, which has not been amply discussed in the literature. In between 50 and 70 wt% rubber content, a yield in complex viscosity and secondary plateau in storage modulus were discerned due to interconnected droplets-matrix morphology manifesting the thermoplastic elastomeric nature of the blends (TPEs). Such network-like structure altered the rheological properties like relaxation time, capillary viscosity, die swell, elastic responses of the TPE with respect to the trend as expected according to the rule of mixing. Interestingly, in the early stages of mixing, when the dispersed size was bigger, the effect of physical network on the rheological properties was suppressed. During dynamic vulcanization (TPV), both lower and higher frequency responses in oscillatory shear flow, steady shear rheological properties, recoverable strain etc. have changed notably with mixing time. For example, although the complex viscosity of the TPV was higher at a lower frequency as compared to its TPE, it was significantly lower at a higher frequency at the beginning of dynamic curing; however, viscosity increased appreciably with time. 石墨烯/热塑性硫化胶复合材料的制备及热电性能 汤 琦,崔勇胤,颜桐桐,曹 兰,宗成中(青岛科技大学 高分子科学与工程学院,山东 青岛 266042) 通过熔融共混方式制备了石墨烯(Ge)/聚丙烯母粒,然后采用动态硫化的方法与丁基橡胶共混制备Ge/热塑性硫化胶(TPV)复合材料,研究了Ge/TPV复合材料的相态结构、热电性能和力学性能。结果表明,丁基橡胶交联颗粒以微米级长条状分散在聚丙烯母粒基质中,Ge表面褶皱明显,片层厚度较薄,均匀分散在聚丙烯母粒相和橡塑两相界面中。丁基橡胶交联颗粒能够排斥Ge,从而提高Ge/TPV复合材料的热电性能。与纯TPV相比,Ge/TPV复合材料(Ge质量分数2%)的交流电导率增加了1个数量级,介电常数增加了1.6倍,热导率增加了44.2%。Ge/TPV复合材料的热电性能及力学性能因Ge的存在而大幅提高。 相似文献
