啁啾相移光纤光栅的反射谱特性   总被引:10,自引:4,他引:6  
相移光纤光栅作为透射型滤波器件降低了使用成本,在光通信和传感领域有着较高的应用价值.将传输矩阵法与谐振理论相结合,详细分析了相移量、相移点位置对啁啾相移光栅反射谱特性的影响,数值模拟和实验结果表明,啁啾相移光栅与均匀相移光栅不同,当位于啁啾光栅中点的相移调制量偏离π/2时,透射峰在偏离光栅反射谱中心的同时深度逐渐减小;当相移点在光栅上的位置发生变化时,透射峰位置也随之改变,但深度基本保持不变.利用啁啾光栅的这种特性,可形成具有多个透射峰的多点相移光栅.  相似文献

文中利用传输矩阵法对我们构造的四种变迹函数所描述的线性啁啾光纤光栅的光学特性进行了数值计算,并与常用的高斯型变迹线性啁啾光纤光栅的最佳光学特性进行了比较和分析,得出了一些有意义的结论,为设计和制作合适的线性啁啾光纤光栅用作色散补偿器提供了一定的理论依据。  相似文献

In this paper, we describe the spectral characteristics that can be achieved in fiber reflection (Bragg) and transmission gratings. Both principles for understanding and tools for designing fiber gratings are emphasized. Examples are given to illustrate the wide variety of optical properties that are possible in fiber gratings. The types of gratings considered include uniform, apodized, chirped, discrete phase-shifted, and superstructure gratings; short-period and long-period gratings; symmetric and tilted gratings; and cladding-mode and radiation-mode coupling gratings  相似文献

An ultranarrow linewidth erbium-doped fiber ring laser is presented. It is based on the filtering properties of a phase-shifted chirped fiber Bragg grating, which is inserted inside the cavity of the laser. A dynamic control of the phase shifting, which is induced by a magnetostrictive transducer, permits both tunable continuous-wave and actively $Q$-switched operation. The use of a chirped grating overcomes the limitations imposed by the narrow spectra of uniform gratings observed in previously reported ring lasers based on intracavity transmission filters.   相似文献

使用Ⅴ-Ⅰ传输矩阵法分析了相移量、相移点位置以及啁啾系数对啁啾相移光纤光栅透射谱特性的影响,并分析了在啁啾光纤光栅中同时引入多相移时生成的多陷波滤波器的波长间隔,发现其与以同样的位置引入单相移时陷波滤波器的波长偏离间隔基本一致。依据仿真分析结果,可以优化啁啾相移光栅相移数量、位置间隔、啁啾系数和相移量的参数选择,设计出实际需要的多波长滤波器。  相似文献

为了研究双体布喇格光栅外腔二极管激光器的衍射特性,采用一块体布喇格光栅与一块横向啁啾体布喇格光栅组成双体布喇格光栅,理论分析了组合前后体布喇格光栅的衍射特性,实验研究了双体布喇格光栅外腔二极管激光器的输出光谱特性。结果表明,在双体布喇格光栅外腔反馈的作用下,可以实现双波长同时输出,通过横向移动横向啁啾体布喇格光栅,可以在保持其中一个中心波长不变的情况下,使另外的一个波长在800nm~815nm的范围内线性调谐。此研究为基于双体布喇格光栅实现双波长输出的大功率二极管激光器提供了实验指导。  相似文献

为了研究线性啁啾光纤布喇格光栅的特性,并进一步把它用于光纤激光器上,介绍了线性啁啾光纤布喇格光栅的耦合模理论,采用4阶Runge-Kutta法和传输矩阵法结合控制变量法,对线性啁啾光纤布喇格光栅反射率与啁啾系数、半峰全宽与光栅长度、反射率与直流纤芯折射率改变量之间的关系进行了数值模拟。结果表明,线性啁啾光纤布喇格光纤可以展宽带宽。基于这个结论,提出了利用线性啁啾光纤布喇格光栅作为光纤激光器腔镜,使输出谱线展宽,从而可作为宽带光源使用的方案。  相似文献

对啁啾光栅阻带外的色散特性进行了深入理论分析,在WDM系统中往往需要光栅级联来完成单个光栅不能实现的功能,级联光栅时,前面光栅的阻带外色散要对接续在其后面的光栅产生影响,增大了光栅的时延波动。对光栅级相互间的影响进行了理论分析与实验验证,提出了降低光栅间相互影响的方法是降低调制或光栅切趾,在光栅级联时采用高阶高斯切趾的效果最好。  相似文献

We propose a novel technique to design a high-channel-count, multichannel fiber Bragg grating (FBG) based on a largely chirped structure. The minimization of refractive-index modulation has been widely discussed in the previously demonstrated multichannel grating designs. The complexity of the grating structure, however, is also important from the point of view of practical fabrication. In this paper, the degree of grating complexity (DGC) is defined. We show that the DGC of a multichannel grating can be significantly reduced by designing a grating with a largely chirped structure. A detailed grating design process based on this technique is discussed, by which four multichannel gratings are designed and numerically studied, for applications such as periodic and nonperiodic spectral filtering, chromatic dispersion compensation and dispersion slope compensation. The proposed theory and examples show that different gratings with high-channel-count and multichannel responses can be designed and fabricated using a single commercially available phase mask, and all the gratings can be realized by a conventional FBG fabrication facility since the gratings have a low DGC with low index modulation.   相似文献

为了研究纵向啁啾体光栅的光谱衍射特性,采用传输矩阵方法进行了分析,研究了光栅的厚度、折射率调制系数和啁啾波长范围对纵向啁啾体光栅中心衍射效率的影响。结果表明,随着光栅厚度的增加,中心衍射效率随之增大;随着光栅折射率调制系数的增大,中心衍射效率也随之逐渐增加;而随着啁啾波长范围的增大,纵向啁啾体光栅的中心衍射效率则逐渐减小。此研究结果对大尺寸啁啾体光栅的设计制作有一定的参考价值。  相似文献

目前光纤光栅在高功率连续光纤激光器中的应用主要有两个方面,一是作为谐振腔腔镜,二是用来抑制激光器的非线性效应。首先论述了光纤光栅作为腔镜技术的发展现状,然后着重论述了能够抑制光纤激光器中非线性效应的特殊光纤光栅的发展状况。并详细描述了倾斜布拉格光纤光栅抑制受激拉曼散射和受激布里渊散射、长周期光纤光栅抑制受激拉曼散射以及相移长周期光纤光栅抑制自相位调制或四波混频等非线性效应引起的光谱展宽的研究进展。最后展望了光纤光栅在高功率光纤激光器领域的发展趋势,认为光纤光栅将朝着更高承载功率与长波长方向发展,同时认为基于飞秒激光刻写的光纤光栅技术、能够同时抑制多种非线性效应的光纤光栅技术、以及基于光纤光栅的光纤激光器激光偏振控制技术等将成为新的研究热点。  相似文献

We introduce a new class of high channel count multiwavelength comb filters based on sampled fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs). Our approach exploits the spectral fractional Talbot effect in sampled chirped FBGs (S-CFBGs). For specific conditions between the grating chirp and sampling period, the channel spacing can be reduced compared to the value obtained using conventional sampling techniques. In this way, the channel density can be multiplied without needing to increase the sampling period. Moreover, despite the fact that the grating is chirped, operating under the spectral Talbot regime ensures that the resultant in-band group delay characteristics are similar to those of a sampled uniform period FBG.  相似文献

电子束刻蚀啁啾相位掩模板采用的是分步啁啾法,而掩模板制造过程中分步之间的接缝误差是啁啾光纤光栅产生时延纹波的一个重要因素。该文以分步步长1 mm,总长度140 mm的相位掩模板为例,理论分析和比较了不同接缝误差对啁啾光纤光栅时延纹波的影响。分析表明,最大相位误差为0.05 rad和0.08 rad时,光栅时延纹波的统计平均分别为14.491 ps和22.38 ps。进行相关试验研究以上相位掩模板写入光栅的时延特性,得出结论与理论分析一致。  相似文献

We demonstrated numerically that both the chromatic dispersion and the dispersion slope can be compensated by using purely phase-sampled superstructure fiber Bragg gratings provided both the grating period and the sampling period are chirped linearly along the grating. Adjusting the refractive index modulation and the chirp of sampling function, they can be designed to compensate dispersion of a large number of wavelength-division-multiplexing channels.  相似文献

Numerical analysis of the dispersion-compensating properties of fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) in both reflective and transmissive modes is presented. First, the sensitivity of chirped, reflective gratings to the grating chirp parameter, index modulation, and grating length is examined, showing that apodization provides lower sensitivity to variations in these parameters. 提出了采用遗传算法(GA)结合传输矩阵法从需要的时延特性对光纤光栅进行参数重构的方法。该方法以时延为目标函数,由光纤光栅参数,包括光栅长度、折射率调制、光栅周期和光栅啁啾,组成种群中的待优化的个体,经过若干代遗传得到最优结果。用实值编码遗传算法实现了对均匀光纤光栅、啁啾光纤光栅和切趾啁啾光纤光栅参数的重构。数值仿真结果表明该方法对光纤光栅的时延特性参数重构十分有效。由斜率为100ps/nm,最大时延为300ps,中心波长为1555.2nm的理想线性时延特性重构出切趾啁啾光纤光栅的参数。此方法可以有效地从时延信息中提取光纤光栅参数,能够应用在利用光纤光栅时延特性的光控相控阵天线设计中。  相似文献
