在当前制造企业的制造执行系统(MES)中,存在大量灵活多变的业务规则,这大大增加了这些企业MES的实施难度。传统的MES系统把业务逻辑和代码逻辑混杂在一起,使得企业的生产策略和业务逻辑不能灵活改变以适应现实情况。该文通过在MES中引入业务规则管理系统(BRMS),利用规则引擎及相应的规则语言,针对企业需求制定业务规则,把程序代码和业务规则分离开来,使企业根据市场需求灵活调整企业生产方针,加快了MES系统的开发、升级、维护过程,增强了MES系统的灵活性和适应能力。 相似文献

ECA规则通过条件与处理集中定义业务流程中活动与活动间的转换关系,并通过事件驱动机制驱动业务流程中相应业务逻辑实现,在一定程度上增加了系统代码的可维护性,但是并没有改变业务逻辑发生变化时需要修改系统代码以维护系统的现状.业务规则可准确描述业务流程中所有业务逻辑,建立与业务流程事件无关的运行机制,更加直接明确地反映业务需求,适应业务需求变化,而无需修改系统代码,基于此建立基于业务规则的工作流管理系统模型. 相似文献

As the volume, sources and types of business rules continue to grow, so do the needs of organizations to accurately, consistently and effectively manage rules. Increasingly, firms seek business rules management systems (BRMS) for assistance. Although studies have examined BRMS technical considerations, few have examined management considerations of deploying and managing BRMS projects. This study addresses this gap through examination and comparative analysis of BRMS deployments. Qualitative case study methods are employed and findings suggest a common deployment methodology and emergence of tightly structured services model. Business process models are used heavily in practice as a basis for process improvement, systems development, and understanding business operations. While prior research has identified a clear need for integrating business rules into graphical business process models, there is little guidance on the circumstances under which business rules should be integrated into business process models. Unnecessary integration may hamper business rule reuse, increase business process model complexity, and lead to difficulties with business rule modification, to name a few. Accordingly, it is important to understand when such integration is appropriate. The aim of this article is to address this need for guidance on when business rules should be integrated in process models, and when they should remain separate. To this end, we explain 12 factors posited to influence such modeling decisions, conduct an empirical study to identify their importance, and develop empirically based modeling guidelines that inform business rule modeling decisions. 相似文献

Process modeling and rule modeling languages are both used to document organizational policies and procedures. To date, their synergies and overlap are under-researched. Understanding the relationship between the two modeling types would allow organizations to maximize synergies, avoid content duplication, and thus reduce their overall modeling effort. In this paper, we use the Bunge–Wand–Weber (BWW) representation theory to compare the representation capabilities of process and rule modeling languages. We perform a representational analysis of four rule modeling specifications: The Simple Rule Markup Language (SRML), the Semantic Web Rules Language (SWRL), the Production Rule Representation (PRR), and the Semantics of Business Vocabulary and Business Rules (SBVR) specification. We compare their BWW representation capabilities with those of four popular conceptual process modeling languages. In our analysis, we focus on the aspects of maximum ontological completeness and minimum ontological overlap. The outcome of this study shows that no single language is internally complete with respect to the BWW representation model. We also show that a combination of two languages, in particular SRML and BPMN, appears to be better suited for combined process and rule modeling than any of these modeling languages used independently. 相似文献
