A new patch-based texture synthesis method is presented in this paper. By the method, a set of patches that can be matched with a sampled patch for growing textures effectively, called the matching compatibility between patches, is generated first for each patch, and the set is further optimized by culling the patches that may cause synthesis conflicts. In this way, similarity measurement calculation for selecting suitable patches in texture synthesis can be greatly saved, and synthesis conflicts between neighbouring patches are substantially reduced. Furthermore, retrace computation is integrated in the synthesis process to improve the texture quality. As a result, the new method can produce high quality textures as texture optimization, the best method to date for producing good textures, and run in a time complexity linear to the size of the output texture. Experimental results show that the new method can interactively generate a large texture in 1024 × 1024 pixels, which is very difficult to achieve by existing methods. We present a demand-driven approach to memory leak detection algorithm based on flow- and context-sensitive pointer analysis. The detection algorithm firstly assumes the presence of a memory leak at some program point and then runs a backward analysis to see if this assumption can be disproved. Our algorithm computes the memory abstraction of programs based on points-to graph resulting from flow- and context-sensitive pointer analysis. We have implemented the algorithm in the SUIF2 compiler infrastructure and used the implementation to analyze a set of C benchmark programs. The experimental results show that the approach has better precision with satisfied scalability as expected. 提出了一个点和多边形模型混合的场景表达方式,从而实现了对复杂场景的视点不受限制的实时漫游.它从多幅带深度的参考图像出发,在预处理阶段区别对待场景中平面物体和曲面物体在参考图像中的对应像素.对于在参考图像所占区域较大的空间平面,用传统的多边形模型方式对其进行表达,试图恢复出其平面方程,然后通过采样密度比较和重采样过程,将该空间平面在所有参考图像中的出现合并成一个均匀采样的纹理图像;而对于空间曲面或在参考图像中所占面积较小的平面,使用点的形式对其进行表达,通过采样密度的比较去掉冗余的点,将保留下来的点按其空间位置进行聚类.同时,对于场景中那些不被所有参考图像所拍摄到而在漫游过程中可能形成空洞的部分,提出一个空洞预填补技术,在预处理阶段即对这类空洞进行填补,从而大大减少了漫游阶段出现空洞的几率.在漫游阶段则使用纹理映射和点Warping的方式进行绘制,以充分利用图形硬件的加速功能.  相似文献

We propose a new technique for reconstructing surfaces from a large set of unorganized 3D data points and their associated normal vectors. The surface is represented as the zero level set of an implicit vol-ume model which fits the data points and normal constraints. Compared with variational implicit sur-faces,we make use of surface normal vectors at data points directly in the implicit model and avoid of introducing manufactured off-surface points. Given n surface point/normal pairs,the proposed method only needs to solve an n×n positive definite linear system. It allows fitting large datasets effectively and robustly. We demonstrate the performance of the proposed method with both globally supported and compactly supported radial basis functions on several datasets.  相似文献

This paper presents an optimized 64-bit parallel adder. Sparse-tree architecture enables low carry-merge fan-outs and inter-stage wiring complexity. Single-rail and semi-dynamic circuit improves operation speed. Simulation results show that the proposed adder can operate at 485ps with power of 25.6mW in 0.18μm CMOS process. It achieves the goal of higher speed and lower power.  相似文献

In many applications, XML documents need to be modelled as graphs. The query processing of graph-structured XML documents brings new challenges. In this paper, we design a method based on labelling scheme for structural queries processing on graph-structured XML documents. We give each node some labels, the reachability labelling scheme. By extending an interval-based reachability labelling scheme for DAG by Rakesh et al., we design labelling schemes to support the judgements of reachability relationships for general graphs. Based on the labelling schemes, we design graph structural join algorithms to answer the structural queries with only ancestor-descendant relationship efficiently. For the processing of subgraph query, we design a subgraph join algorithm. With efficient data structure, the subgraph join algorithm can process subgraph queries with various structures efficiently. Experimental results show that our algorithms have good performance and scalability. QoS supported MAC mechanism is a key issue for supporting QoS in wireless ad hoc networks. A new backoff algorithm, named RWBO+BEB, was proposed previ- ously to decrease the packet collision probability significantly. In this paper, it is explored how to make RWBO+BEB support service differentiation in wireless ad hoc networks, and a novel proportional service differentiation algorithm, named p-RWBO, is proposed to allocate the wireless bandwidth according to the band- width ratio of each station. In p-RWBO, station n's walking probability (Pw,n) is selected according to its allocated bandwidth ratio. An analytical model is proposed to analyze how to choose Pw, n according to the bandwidth ratios of station n. The simulation results indicate that p-RWBO can differentiate services in terms of both bandwidth and delay.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the global asymptotic stability of a class of recurrent neural networks with interval time-varying delay. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, a new criterion is established to ensure the global asymptotic stability of the concerned neural networks, which can be expressed in the form of linear matrix inequality and independent of the size of derivative of time varying delay. Two numerical examples show the effectiveness of the obtained results. A min-max model predictive control strategy is proposed for a class of constrained nonlinear system whose trajectories can be embedded within those of a bank of linear parameter varying (LPV) models. The embedding LPV models can yield much better approximation of the nonlinear system dynamics than a single LTV model. For each LPV model, a parameter-dependent Lyapunov function is introduced to obtain poly-quadratically stable control law and to guarantee the feasibility and stability of the original nonlinear system. This approach can greatly reduce computational burden in traditional nonlinear predictive control strategy. Finally a simulation example illustrating the strategy is presented. IPv6 protocol plays an important role in the next generation of Internet (NGI). It is expected that the elegant coexistence of IPv4 and IPv6 is the key point of IPv6 transition. To solve the transition problem, we propose a mesh unicast framework and a multicast framework in this paper. We describe two reference models for the mesh unicast framework, and put forward two potential solutions for the multicast framework. A Linux-based prototype is implemented for IPv4 over IPv6 scenario and a test bed is deployed with 8 nodes on CERNET2. The deployment demon- strates the advantages of the framework.  相似文献

In this paper we extend the idea of interpolated coefficients for semilinear problems to the finite volume element method based on rectangular partition. At first we introduce bilinear finite volume element method with interpolated coefficients for a boundary value problem of semilinear elliptic equation. Next we derive convergence estimate in H 1-norm and superconvergence of derivative. Finally an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. This paper presents a novel approach for the classification of planar surfaces in an unorganized point clouds. A feature-based planner surface detection method is proposed which classifies a point cloud data into planar and non-planar points by learning a classification model from an example set of planes. The algorithm performs segmentation of the scene by applying a graph partitioning approach with improved representation of association among graph nodes. The planarity estimation of the points in a scene segment is then achieved by classifying input points as planar points which satisfy planarity constraint imposed by the learned model. The resultant planes have potential application in solving simultaneous localization and mapping problem for navigation of an unmanned-air vehicle. The proposed method is validated on real and synthetic scenes. The real data consist of five datasets recorded by capturing three-dimensional(3D) point clouds when a RGBD camera is moved in five different indoor scenes. A set of synthetic 3D scenes are constructed containing planar and non-planar structures. The synthetic data are contaminated with Gaussian and random structure noise. The results of the empirical evaluation on both the real and the simulated data suggest that the method provides a generalized solution for plane detection even in the presence of the noise and non-planar objects in the scene. Furthermore, a comparative study has been performed between multiple plane extraction methods.  相似文献

This paper presents the definition of multi-dimensional scalability of the Internet architecture, and puts forward a mathematical method to evaluate Internet scalability based on a variety of constraints. Then, the method is employed to study the Internet scalability problem in performance, scale and service scalability. Based on the examples, theoretical analysis and experimental simulation are conducted to address the scalability issue. The results show that the proposed definition and evaluation method of multi-dimensional Internet scalability can effectively evaluate the scalability of the Internet in every aspect, thus providing rational suggestions and methods for evaluation of the next generation Internet architecture.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of receding horizon state estimation for networked control systems (NCSs) with random network-induced delays less than one sample period, which are formulated as multirate control systems. Based on a batch of recent past slow rate measurements in a finite horizon window, the initial state estimation in this window is solved by minimizing a receding-horizon objective function, and then the fast rate state estimations are calculated by the prediction of dynamic equation to compensate for the network-induced time delays. Furthermore, convergence results and unbiasedness properties are analyzed. An upper bound of estimation error is presented under the assumption of bounded disturbances acting on the system and measurement equations. A simulation example shows the effectiveness of the proposed method. In this paper, the concept of globally exponentially attractive set is proposed and used to consider the ultimate bounds of the family of Lorenz systems with varying parameters. Explicit estimations of the ultimate bounds are derived. The results presented in this paper contain all the existing results as special cases. In particular, the critical cases, b→ 1^+ and a→0^+, for which the previous methods failed, have been solved using a unified formula.  相似文献

The execution of composite Web services with WS-BPEL relies on externally autonomous Web services. This implies the need to constantly monitor the running behavior of the involved parties. Moreover, monitoring the execution of composite Web services for particular patterns is critical to enhance the reliability of the processes. In this paper, we propose an aspect-oriented framework as a solution to provide monitoring and recovery support for composite Web services. In particular, this framework includes 1) a stateful aspect based template, where history-based pointcut specifies patterns of interest cannot be violated within a range, while advice specifies the associated recovery action; 2) a tool support for runtime monitoring and recovery based on aspect-oriented execution environment. Our experiments indicate that the proposed monitoring approach incurs minimal overhead and is efficient. In this paper, we give an up-to-date survey on physically-based fluid animation research. As one of the most popular approaches to simulate realistic fluid effects, physically-based fluid animation has spurred a large number of new results in recent years. We classify and discuss the existing methods within three categories: Lagrangian method, Eulerian method and Lattice-Boltzmann method. We then introduce techniques for seven different kinds of special fluid effects. The constrained minimum vertex cover problem on bipartite graphs (the Min-CVCB problem) is an important NP-complete problem. This paper presents a polynomial time approximation algorithm for the problem based on the technique of chain implication. For any given constant ε > 0, if an instance of the Min-CVCB problem has a minimum vertex cover of size (ku, kl), our algorithm constructs a vertex cover of size (ku*, kl* ), satisfying max{ku*/ku, kl* /kl} 1 ε.  相似文献
