ABSTRACT

In this paper, we address the robust control design problem for nonlinear dynamical systems tracking unreliable reference signals. Specifically, we present robust model reference adaptive control laws that guarantee uniform ultimate boundedness of the trajectory tracking error for nonlinear plants that are affected by matched, unmatched, and parametric uncertainties, and are subject to constraints on the state space and the measured output. These control laws guarantee satisfactory results even in case the reference trajectory or the reference output signal do not verify the given constraints and hence, may draw the plant's trajectory or measured output outside their constraint sets. A numerical example involving the attitude control of a spacecraft illustrates the feasibility of the theoretical results presented.  相似文献

In this paper, the output tracking control problem for a class of switched nonlinear systems with multiple time-varying delays is studied based on equivalent-input-disturbance (EID) approach. More precisely, with the use of suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional together with average dwell-time technique, an output feedback tracking controller is designed which makes that the states of resulting system can asymptotically track the desired trajectory. Further, the EID estimator is implemented to reject both matched and unmatched disturbances effectively without requiring any prior knowledge of the disturbances. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and potential of the developed EID-based output tracking control design technique. The results reveal the fact that the tracking controller based on EID provides a better tracking performance than the feedback controller based on sliding mode technique.  相似文献

To adaptively reject the effect of certain unmatched input disturbances on the output of a linear time-invariant system, a transfer function matching condition is needed. A lemma which presents a novel basic property of linear systems is derived to characterize system conditions for such transfer function matching. An adaptive disturbance rejection control scheme is developed for such systems with uncertain dynamics parameters and disturbance parameters. This adaptive control technique is applicable to control of systems with actuator failures whose failure values, failure time instants, and failure patterns are unknown. A solution is presented to this adaptive actuator failure compensation problem, which ensures closed-loop stability and asymptotic output tracking, in the presence of any up to m−1 uncertain failures of the total m actuators. Desired adaptive system performance is verified by simulation results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the tracking control problem for a class of multiple‐input–multiple‐output systems with unmatched disturbances and the unknown additive and multiplicative nonlinearities. The objective is to provide a low‐complexity control solution in the sense that (i) approximating structures are not involved, despite unknown nonlinearities and (ii) iterative calculations of command derivatives are avoided in the backstepping design. A robust adaptive control strategy is proposed to fulfill the task. In the control design, a new‐type adaptive law is first developed to update Nussbaum gains to handle control direction uncertainties, while ensuring Nussbaum gains bounded. Then, the potential robustness of error constraint techniques is exploited to counteract the effects of unknown nonlinearities and disturbances and achieve predefined transient and steady‐state tracking performance. Finally, simulation results are given to illustrate the above theoretical findings.  相似文献

In this paper, nonlinear observers are incorporated into the adaptive control to synthesize controllers for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with unknown sinusoidal disturbances which are presented in matched and unmatched forms. In addition to magnitudes and phases, frequencies of the sinusoidal disturbances need not be known as well, so long as the overall order is known. Nonlinear observers are constructed to eliminate the effect of unknown sinusoidal disturbances to improve the steady-state output tracking performance-asymptotic output tracking is achieved. The adaptation law is used to obtain the estimate of all unknown parameters. The presented disturbance decoupling algorithms can deal with matched and unmatched unknown sinusoidal disturbances.  相似文献

The problem of active fault‐tolerant tracking control with control input and system output constraints is studied for a class of discrete‐time systems subject to sensor faults. A time‐varying fault‐tolerant observer is first developed to estimate the real system state from the faulty sensor output and control input signals. Then by using the estimated state at each time step, a model predictive control (MPC)‐based fault‐tolerant tracking control scheme is presented to guarantee the desired tracking performance and the given input and output constraints on the faulty system. In comparison with many existing fault‐tolerant MPC methods, its main contribution is that the proposed state estimator is designed by the simple and online numerical computation to tolerate the possible sensor faults, so that the regular MPC algorithm without fault information can be adopted for the online calculation of fault‐tolerant control signal. The potential recursive infeasibility and computational complexity due to the faults are avoided in the scheme. Additionally, the closed‐loop stability of the post‐fault system is discussed. Simulative results of an electric throttle control system verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This article investigates the control problem for underactuated port‐controlled Hamiltonian systems with multiple linearly parameterized additive disturbances including matched, unmatched, constant, and state‐dependent components. The notion of algebraic solution of the matching equations is employed to design an extension of the interconnection and damping assignment passivity‐based control methodology that does not rely on the solution of partial differential equations. The result is a dynamic state‐feedback that includes a disturbance compensation term, where the unknown parameters are estimated adaptively. A simplified implementation of the proposed approach for underactuated mechanical systems is detailed. The effectiveness of the controller is demonstrated with numerical simulations for the magnetic‐levitated‐ball system and for the ball‐on‐beam system.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This paper investigates the zero-sum differential game problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear pure-feedback systems with output constraints and unknown external disturbances. A barrier Lyapunov function is introduced to tackle the output constraints. By constructing an affine variable at each dynamic surface control design step rather than utilising the mean-value theorem, the tracking control problem for pure-feedback systems can be transformed into an equivalent zero-sum differential game problem for affine systems. Then, the solution of associated Hamilton–Jacobi–Isaacs equation can be obtained online by using the adaptive dynamic programming technique. Finally, the whole control scheme that is composed of a feedforward dynamic surface controller and a feedback differential game control strategy guarantees the stability of the closed-loop system, and the tracking error is remained in a bounded compact set. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The control algorithm for nonlinear time-invariant systems with compensation of unknown disturbances under measurement noises is proposed. The dimension of noises is equal to the state vector dimension of the plant. Disturbances can be presented in any equation of the plant model. The novel control law is based on the noise estimator and the disturbance compensator. The accuracy in the steady state depends on the first derivative of disturbance and the smallest component of noise vector. A sufficient condition in terms of linear matrix inequality provides feasibility of the proposed algorithm. The simulations show the efficiency of the proposed method compared with some existing ones.  相似文献

In this paper, a fault-tolerant control scheme is proposed for a class of single-input and single-output non-linear systems with the unknown time-varying system fault and the dead-zone. The non-linear state observer is designed for the non-linear system using differential mean value theorem, and the non-linear fault estimator that estimates the unknown time-varying system fault is developed. On the basis of the designed fault estimator, the observer-based fault-tolerant tracking control is then developed using the backstepping technique for non-linear systems with the dead-zone. The stability of the whole closed-loop system is rigorously proved via Lyapunov analysis and the satisfactory tracking control performance is guaranteed in the presence of the unknown time-varying system fault and the dead-zone. Numerical simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed backstepping fault-tolerant control scheme for non-linear systems.  相似文献

A novel anti‐windup design of active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) is proposed for industrial sampled systems with input delay and saturation. By using a generalized predictor to estimate the delay‐free system output, a modified extended state observer is designed to simultaneously estimate the system state and disturbance, which could become an anti‐windup compensator when the input saturation occurs. Accordingly, a feedback controller is analytically designed for disturbance rejection. By proposing the desired closed‐loop transfer function for the set‐point tracking, a prefilter is designed to tune the tracking performance while guaranteeing no steady‐state output tracking error. A sufficient condition for the closed‐loop system stability is established with proof for practical application subject to the input delay variation. Illustrative examples from the literature are used to demonstrate the effectiveness and merit of the proposed control design.  相似文献

In this work, we present a novel adaptive finite‐time fault‐tolerant control algorithm for a class of multi‐input multi‐output nonlinear systems with constraint requirement on the system output tracking error. Both parametric and nonparametric system uncertainties can be effectively dealt with by the proposed control scheme. The gain functions of the nonlinear systems under discussion, especially the control input gain function, can be not fully known and state‐dependent. Backstepping design with a tan‐type barrier Lyapunov function and a new structure of stabilizing function is presented. We show that under the proposed control scheme, finite‐time convergence of the output tracking error into a small set around zero is guaranteed, while the constraint requirement on the system output tracking error will not be violated during operation. An illustrative example on a robot manipulator model is presented in the end to further demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. The output tracking (OT) of arbitrary references in discrete‐time (DT) nonlinear systems is addressed by designing an output‐feedback control. A set of difference‐algebraic equations is proposed as an exact solution of the problem. Using a novel technique of approximating DT functions, the system disturbance and steady states, characterized by tracking error identically zero, for both the system state and the control input, are represented as signals generated by a disturbed dynamic system. Using the mentioned dynamics, the control system is extended. Then, a state observer is proposed to estimate the resulting extended system state. Finally, a DT sliding mode controller is designed to achieve the approximate OT. Simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of H output tracking control for networked control systems with random time delays and system uncertainties is investigated. Effective sampling instant that is tightly related with transmission delay from sensor to actuator is proposed to ensure that the random variable time delay is always shorter than one effective sampling period. By using both active time‐varying sampling period strategy and hybrid node‐driven mechanism, the switching instant is coincided with the effective sampling instant. An augmented time‐varying networked tracking system model is provided by including the output tracking error as an additional state. However, random transmission delay causes indeterminate sampling period, which induces infinite subsystems. Gridding approach is introduced to transform the continuous time axis into discrete‐time sequences, which guarantees the finite number of switching rules. By employing multiple Lyapunov–Krasovskii functions, linear matrix inequality (LMI)‐based output tracking H performance analysis is presented, and robust switching H model reference tracking controller for networked control systems with communication constraints and system uncertainties is designed to guarantee asymptotic tracking of prescribed reference outputs while rejecting disturbances. Finally, simulation results illustrate the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed approaches. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this paper, the output tracking problem for a class of systems with unstable zero dynamics is addressed. The state is assumed not measurable. The output of the dynamical system to be controlled has to track a signal, which is the sum of a known number of sinusoids with unknown frequencies, amplitudes and phases. The non-minimum phase nature of the considered systems prevents the direct tracking by standard sliding mode methods, which are known to generate unstable behaviours of the internal dynamics. The proposed method relies on the availability of a flat output and its time derivatives which are functions of the unavailable state; therefore, a nonlinear observer is needed. Due to the uncertainty in the frequencies and in the parameters defining the relationship between the output of the system and the flat states, adaptive indirect methods are applied.  相似文献

A sliding mode controller is proposed for an uncertain input-delay system to enhance performance. A nonlinear sliding surface is proposed to achieve better transient response for general uncertain discrete SISO linear systems with input delay. Both matched and unmatched perturbations are considered and ultimate boundedness of motion is proved. The step tracking problem is analysed. The proposed surface increases the damping ratio of the transformed system (delay free) as the output moves nearer to the setpoint. To simplify the surface design, a linear matrix inequality based tuning procedure is proposed. The control law is designed based on an equivalent control approach which guarantees one step reaching. The scheme is able to achieve low overshoot and low settling time simultaneously which is not possible with a linear sliding surface. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed nonlinear surface over different linear surfaces.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of robust stabilization and tracking control for a class of switched nonlinear systems via the multiple Lyapunov functions (MLFs) approach. First, a state feedback controller and a state dependent switching law are designed to globally asymptotically stabilize the switched system via linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The main objective of this paper is to develop a tracking control approach that assures global asymptotic output and state tracking with zero tracking error in the steady state. Then, the tracking control is formulated such that the robust H tracking performance is achieved. Finally, a simulation example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the main method.  相似文献
