On the Subjective Quality of Social Justice: The Role of Affect as Information in the Psychology of Justice Judgments.

This article argues that it is not uncommon for people forming justice judgments to lack information that is most relevant in the particular situation. In information-uncertain conditions, people may therefore construct justice judgments by relying on how they feel about the events they have encountered, and justice judgments may hence be strongly influenced by affect information. Findings show that in information-uncertain conditions, the affective states that people had been in prior and unrelated to the justice event indeed strongly influenced their justice judgments. These findings thus reveal that in situations of information uncertainty, people's judgments of justice can be very subjective, susceptible to affective states that have no logical relationship with the justice judgments they are constructing. 现代性视角下的文化嬗变与人文回归

完整的理性文化应当包括科技文化、人文文化两个方面。但在现代性导致的文化嬗变中,技术理性独断造成了文化的感性化、工具化,并且使人丧失了主体性。因而,呼唤主体性,实现理性的人文价值回归,就成为社会全面发展的要求。     

基于主观倾向值和EasyEnsemble算法的虚假评论识别方法

为了有效识别在线虚假评论,提出一种基于XGBoost-EasyEnsemble算法的虚假评论识别方法。首先,根据虚假评论的特点和提出的主观倾向值计算方法,建立多维特征模型;其次,针对评论数据中的类别不平衡问题,EasyEnsemble算法借助集成策略弥补欠采样的缺陷,充分利用样本信息;最后,选择“好而不同”的XGBoost模型作为基分类器训练最终分类器。基于Yelp网站上的评论数据,以AUC作为评价指标,与支持向量机、GBDT、神经网络等热门机器学习算法进行对比,验证了该方法的有效性。     

基于翻译文体学的实用翻译研究

为了加强实用翻译研究,本文进行了深入细致的探索.以翻译文体学为母论,借鉴关联理论和翻译综合法,指出实用翻译应首先分析语篇类型和文体特征,以最佳关联原则指导翻译实践并调节主体间性,合理采用直译、意译、直译意译结合、创译等翻译方法.研究结果表明,翻译文体学对实用翻译具有较大的指导作用.     

Remediating Theatre in a Digital Proscenium

The paper examines and evaluates the transposition of live theatre performance into a digital multimedia environment utilising QuickTime (or equivalent) movie software for use on standard PCs. Writers such as Brenda Laurel have discussed the close correspondences between theatre and computers, and CD-ROM authoring software such as Director clearly adopts theatrical paradigms and terminology. The differences between attending a performance in a theatre and viewing a recording on a computer screen are outlined, and how these two experiences differ in what is expected from the audience/user. The distortions inherent in any video recording of a theatre event are explored, with particular reference to differentials in performance scale. The flickering, low-r esolution picture typifying video playback on CD-ROMs is then argued to be a positive virtue in the remediation of theatrical footage, and far preferable to full-screen video recordings. A number of reasons are proposed which explore ideas around documentary realism, visual and aesthetic convention, totemic fetishisation, and Brecht's alienation theory. It is suggested that the small-window digital movie placed within the larger multimedia screen where other graphical codes and images can co-exist and interact with the video footage, creates a dual proscenium that is poetic, evocative, and inherently theatrical.     

Computation and the Three Worlds

Discussions about the achievements and limitations of the various approaches to the development of intelligent systems can have an essential impact on empirically based research, and with that also on the future development of computer technologies. However, such discussions are often based on vague concepts and assumptions. In this context, we claim that the proposed `three-world ontology' offers the most appropriate conceptual framework in which the basic problems concerned with cognition and computation can be suitably expressed and discussed, although the solutions of some of these problems seem to lie beyond the horizon of our current understanding. We stress the necessity to differentiate between authentic and functional cognitive abilities; although computation is not a plausible way towards authentic intelligence, we claim that computational systems do offer virtually unlimited possibilities to replicate and surpass human cognitive abilities on the functional level.

论翻译实践中译者主体性的发挥——以企业口号语翻译为例

翻译研究过程中的主体性关注大致可概括为以下趋势:"原文—原作者—译者—主体间—翻译生态"。这一趋势反映的是译者主体地位的觉醒与对其过度膨胀的反思。然而对于翻译实践来说,理论认识上的深入并不是以直接指导的方式来发挥其功能的。更可能的途径是:理论认识内化为认识背景并通过实践转化为认识能力与实践能力。这一点笔者在翻译实践与翻译教学中得到了部分验证。     

主体性生产的叠歌:加塔利的别样思考

本文以主体性生产为切入点,探讨加塔利关于主体性生产理论的生成语境、影响因素与基本特点。加塔利指出,他不再关注大写的、抽象的、先验的主体,而是关注主体性生产,借用巴赫金的复调理论,结合他与德勒兹的叠歌理论,从生产的角度阐释了主体性的复调性、过程性、创造性和多样性,谱写了一曲主体性生产的＂叠歌＂。
