This paper considers the growing amount of mortgage interest paid in the Netherlands against the background of its full fiscal deductibility, increasing homeownership rates, innovation in the mortgage market, and changes in the Dutch income tax system. Its main conclusion is that arguments in favor of fiscal deductibility are weak. Since the deductibility puts pressure on the income tax base, it is likely that sooner or later the facility must be limited or abandoned.

以某型号连接盘为例,研究了使用Pro/E软件进行从零件、铸件到铸造模具的设计过程。阐述了产品开发中零件的建模应兼顾制造时的各种工艺建模,其中详述了为使铸件及铸造模具的设计顺利进行,零件和铸件三维建模过程应遵循的一定顺序及一些技巧。铸造模具建模前先建工艺模型,对型芯头、起模斜度等工艺措施在工艺模型中给予建立,然后用工艺模型将型芯和外模分拆出来,可减少分别建模时可能出现的失误,提高模具的精度,缩短产品的市场化周期。  相似文献

The virtual lack of cross-border mortgage lending in the European Union (E.U.), even before the current mortgage and financial crisis, reveals the need to adopt a pan-European mortgage instrument. This article shows how it can be structured such that a common mortgage instrument for Europe could lead to the construction of a true pan-European cross-border mortgage market. It is the so-called Eurohypothec. The model is studied following the objectives pursued by the E.U. White Paper about the integration of the E.U. mortgage credit markets and also taking into account the causes of the current mortgage and financial crisis (mainly weak legal structures of mortgage securitization processes and their control, in addition to the lack of transparency in mortgage lending). The paper also shows how operations using or based on mortgage loans can be done efficiently, securely, and transparently throughout Europe through the so-called Eurotrust. In conclusion, the writer finds out that the combination of Eurohypothec and Eurotrust is fully compliant with the E.U. White Paper. Moreover, this combination could not only help with the creation of a true pan-European mortgage market but also would help to enhance current national mortgage legislations and to make more transparent and secure several financial operations that involve mortgages.  相似文献

Construction contract law in the common law world is largely free of direct statutory intervention. The agenda of calls within the United Kingdom to remedy major defects in construction law is used as a framework in a series of comparisons with recent legislation and practice in Australia, notably in Victoria where a holistic approach to the industry's problems has been adopted with signal success. It is suggested that policy makers in the UK consider what Commonwealth jurisdictions have to offer to the solution of homegrown problems.  相似文献

The built environment needs to develop sustainable, decarbonised, low energy systems and approaches that are socially acceptable and economically beneficial. The UK mainstream house construction industry is being driven, through policy and regulation, towards achieving this end without evidence of how these new systems of provision are used by passively adopting households. In this paper energy use, consequential emissions of CO2, and annual running costs for a case study comprising 14 newly constructed low energy affordable homes are evaluated. Four different energy typologies are compared: ground sourced heat pumps; active solar (thermal and photovoltaic); passive solar and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery; conventional high efficiency gas boiler. The carbon embodied in construction and emitted over a 20 year occupation period for each typology is calculated. Ground source heat pumps have the highest annual primary energy demand, CO2 emission and annual running costs over the 20 year period. The homes with active solar technologies provided most benefit across all three evaluation criteria. Energy and CO2 emissions associated with end uses other than heating were similar to the UK average. This poses significant questions on the probability of policy application in the real world to deliver projected reductions in emissions of CO2.  相似文献

Mixed tenure is the predominant development and regeneration strategy and is a key component of UK housing and urban policy. It is purported to provide wide-ranging social, environmental and economic benefits to residents. While there is a large literature on mixed tenure, policy makers are likely to rely on reviews and summaries of the evidence rather than primary studies. But can they rely on such reviews? Using systematic review methods this paper critically appraises recent reviews for the evidence that mixed tenure policies and strategies have achieved any of these expected benefits. Of the six UK reviews of primary studies, most drew on less than half the available primary studies, none provided a critical appraisal of individual studies and made no comment on conflicting evidence between and within studies. While the reviews gave indications of the deficiencies of the evidence base, rather than focus on the implications of these deficiencies, four of the six reviews emphasised the positive effects of tenure mix.  相似文献
