校企合作与学科竞赛之我见

随着高等教育不断发展,高校与企业的深度合作也日益迫切。本文以南京工程学院历年与日本三菱电机有限公司每年举办的"三菱电机自动化杯"全国大学生自动化系统应用竞赛为例,以学科竞赛这块试验田对校企合作中对接文化进行了探索。在教学过程与职业标准、生产过程对接、形成优良学风、提升教师能力、提高学生就业层次等方面具有重要作用。     

泛"学科"论

建设和发展世界一流学科的前提条件是全面把握和深刻理解学科的本质。本文从历史与现实、自然与社会、中国与外国、宏观与微观、抽象与具体、思辨与实证等视解,拟对“学科”进行泛化而精细的阐释。在此基础上,文章聚焦于学科的性质、目的、内容、运动现象和社会生态学意义等五个方面,旨在把握学科之本真,为当前我国追赶和创建世界一流大学和一流学科提供另类思路。     

学术自由研究述评

本文主要阐述了有关学术自由这一议题的研究意义、研究现状及其在学理上搭建一个比较合理的理论基础的可能性     

对学术权力的再审视

近年来 ,有的学者对学术权力进行了重新界定 ,提出新的看法。本文从新观点提出的依据、专用术语与普通用语的区别、历史的内涵、概念的定义等角度 ,对这些新观点进行了深入的分析 ,说明了新观点存在的误区 ,指出学术权力这个概念并未超出原来的意义     

知识生产·国家控制·学术自由——学术自由的哲学解析

学术自由的确立根源于知识生产的个体性和社会性矛盾,前者奠定了学术自由合法性的观念基础,后者则决定了学术自由的制度形态。学术自由史实际上就是从观念到制度的发展历史,在这个过程中,国家利益与知识社会价值的博弈决定了学术自由可能的范围和限度。     

Archival Appraisal and the Digital Record: Applying Past Tradition for Future Practice

The digital revolution has changed the daily work of archivists. As a result, archivists have refined their analog practices and initiated new ones to accommodate the unique information creation and access needs of users. While limitless storage and technological obsolescence may be surmountable challenges, appraisal continues to be a necessary component of this preservation enterprise. Macro-appraisal—a top-down functional assessment of an organization’s high-level decision making that defines the enduring value of specific bodies of documentary evidence of these creative or administrative processes—is used to facilitate the management of diverse bodies of born-digital records in archives and special collections.     

A Review of “What They Don’t Teach You in Library School”

SUMMARY

Distance learning students may not think of the “campus” library as the first place to fulfill their information needs and may not even be aware of the services available to them. One way to reach these students is to adopt and adapt marketing techniques from the business world. This article examines the findings of a survey conducted at Emporia State University concerning the awareness of distance learning services. It will also examine marketing techniques and illustrate how they can be applied to increase awareness of reference support services for distance learners.     

Moving from the Consortium to the Reference Desk: Keeping Chat and Improving Reference at the MSU Libraries

The experience of the Mississippi State University (MSU) Libraries illustrates the challenges presented by moving from consortial to local chat, as well as an evaluation of the advantages of chat reference in an academic setting. Countering the consortial, instant-messaging model prevalent in virtual reference today, the MSU Libraries have found chat offers advantages in an academic community. Moving to a local setting, it was possible for the MSU Libraries to maintain quality control over chat transactions while building relationships with faculty and students across campus.     

Communicating with Faculty,Staff, and Students Using Library Blogs: Results from a Survey of Academic Health Sciences Libraries

This study investigated use and management of blogs in academic health sciences libraries. Quantitative and qualitative data were collected with a questionnaire distributed to bloggers and administrators representing 22 libraries self-identified as using blogs to publish library newsletters. Perceived barriers to use of blogs included lack of patron awareness and technical issues. Blogs were viewed as easy to use by librarians and blogs are used to promote licensed resources. Blogs do not replace other interactions with librarians, but in the future, could be used to develop a community, provide tools for learning, and increase visibility of the library.     

改革开放以来国内标准化学术著作统计研究

标准化学术著作是标准化研究领域阶段性和体系化成果的重要载体.本文对改革开放30多年来国内出版的标准类研究著作进行统计分析,重点梳理改革开放以来标准化研究发展脉络.结果表明:标准化著作分类统计的成果数量和比例具有较强的不均衡性;标准化研究发展方向受社会经济发展的方向主导;高质量的标准化著作数量仍有待提高;标准化著作出版单位也存在多元化与垄断性的特征.目前国内还没有一部公认权威、全面系统的标准化著作能适应标准化工程教学改革,标准化教材建设迫在眉睫.
