Laurus nobilis L., commonly known as daphne tree, is an evergreen that belongs to the Lauraceae family. Daphne trees produce grape-sized shiny purplish berries having three parts: flesh, skin, and an inner kernel (single seed). This study examines supercritical CO2 (SC-CO2) extraction of oil from daphne seeds. The oil yield of ground seeds varied from 14 to 28% depending on the method and particle size used for oil recovery. Yields were similar for both petroleum ether and SC-CO2 extraction. The extraction yield decreased significantly with increasing particle size. The amount of extract collected increased exponentially with increasing SC-CO2 pressure. The highest extraction yield was obtained at the highest temperature studied, 75°C. More than 45% of the oil was lauric acid. SC-CO2 is a viable technique to obtain high-purity L. nobilis L. seed oil, which is a potential ingredient for the cosmetic industry.  相似文献

Preparation of nanocrystalline ZSM-5 has been proven possible with carbon matrix by using confined space synthesis. In combination with the hydrothermal method, by the use of a mesoporous carbon nanotube as the inert support material, ZSM-5 with SiO2/Al2O3 ratios of 100 was successfully synthesized with an average crystal size of 27 nm. Their structures were preliminarily characterized by x-ray power diffraction (XRPD) and infrared spectroscopy (IR), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. At the same time, we put forward the mechanism about the confined space synthesis in terms of the results.  相似文献

Spectral slope (S), describing the exponential decrease of the absorption spectrum over a given wavelength range, is an important parameter in the study of of chromophoric dissolved organic matter (CDOM) dynamics, and also an essential input parameter in remote sensing models. Furthermore, S is often used as a proxy for CDOM composition, including the ratio of fulvic to humic acids and molecular weight. The relative broad range in S values reported in the literature can be explained by the different spectral ranges and fitting methods used. A single exponential model is used to fit the S values for 17 investigations involving 458 samples in Lake Taihu from January to October in 2004. The average S value was 15.18 ± 1.39 μm−1 for the range of 280–500 nm, which fell within the range reported in the literature. The frequency distribution of S value basically obeyed a normal distribution. Significant differences in S values between summer and other seasons showed that phytoplankton degradation was one of the important sources of CDOM in summer, whereas CDOM mainly came from the river input in other seasons. Furthermore, the estimated S value decreased with increasing wavelength range used in regression. The maximum and minimum values derived from the regression were 17.89 ± 1.25 μm−1 and 13.62 ± 2.11 μm−1 for the wavelength ranges of 280–380 nm and 400–500 nm, respectively, a decrease of 23.9%. S values significantly decreased with the increase of CDOM absorption coefficients. CDOM absorption coefficients could be more appropriately estimated from exponential model introducing the variation of S with absorption coefficients, making them useful for a remote sensing bio-optical model of Lake Taihu. DOC-specific absorption coefficient a*(λ) and the parameter M describing molecular size of the humic molecules could also be used as a proxy for the sources and types of CDOM. A general relationship was found between S and a*(λ), and M values. S increased with the decrease of DOC-specific absorption coefficient and the increase of M corresponding to the decrease of molecular weight.  相似文献

将电弧熔炉(electric arc furnace,EAF)钢渣和石灰混和制成球状集料,置于密闭容器当中,并通入100%的CO2气体进行碳化,在0.506 6MPa保持2h.通过质量法测定添加质量分数为11.94%石灰的EAF钢渣(下同)集料CO2的吸收率为5%,通过红外光谱(infrared,IR)分析测定CO2的吸收率为13.88%.用碳化的钢渣集料制备混凝土再进行碳化养护,同时利用碎石和河砂为集料制备碳化混凝土作为参比样.用质量法测定2种混凝土的碳化率分别为21.14%和10.57%;用IR法的为13.81%和16.97%.碳化后电弧熔炉钢渣集料内生长着大量簇生的犬牙状碳酸钙晶体.  相似文献

Submicrometer-sized titania hollow spheres with tunable shell thickness and smooth surfaces have been successfully synthesized by employing sulfonated polystyrene (PS) latex particles as a template in sol-gel method. The structure of the particles was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The shell thickness was readily tuned by altering the concentration of titanium tetrabutoxide (TBOT) in ethanol solutions. The surface roughness as well as the shell thickness has the tendency to increase with the increase in the concentration of TBOT. The diameter of the hollow spheres was on the average of 20-26% smaller than the diameter of template PS latex particles. Some titania fragments were also observed for the sample with the highest TBOT concentration.  相似文献

对碳质纳米孔隙材料提出一种新的分类方法——基于孔壁结构分类。根据这种方法,碳质多孔材料分为:纳米孔“碳”(石墨烯纳米孔材料)和纳米孔“炭”(类石墨微晶纳米孔材料)。具有相近比表面积的两种碳质材料由于具有不同的孔壁结构而可能具有完全不同的物理化学性质(比如:电化学性质)。文中简要介绍了两种新型的纳米孔“碳”——单壁微孔“碳”和碳纳米管-DNA杂化物以及区分纳米孔“碳”和纳米孔“炭”的重要判据:拉曼光谱。  相似文献
