Assessment of Highway Bridge Upgrading by Dynamic Testing and Finite-Element Model Updating

The Land Transport Authority of Singapore has a continuing program of highway bridge upgrading for refurbishing and strengthening bridges to allow for increasing vehicle traffic and increasing axle loads. One subject of this program has been a short-span bridge taking a busy main road across a coastal inlet near a major port facility. Experiment-based structural assessments of the bridge were conducted before and after upgrading works including strengthening. Each assessment exercise comprised three separate components: (1) a strain and acceleration monitoring exercise lasting approximately one month; (2) a full-scale dynamic test carried out in a single day without closing the bridge; and (3) a finite-element model updating exercise to identify structural parameters and mechanisms. This paper presents the dynamic testing and the modal analysis used to identify the vibration properties and the quantification of the effectiveness of the upgrading through the subsequent model updating. Before and after upgrade, similar sets of vibration modes were identified, resembling those of an orthotropic plate with relatively weak transverse bending stiffness. Conversion of bearings from nominal simple supports to nominal full fixity was shown via model updating to be the principal cause of natural frequency increases of up to 50%. The utility of the combined experimental and analytical process in direct identification of structural properties has been proven, and the procedure can be applied to other structures and their capacity assessments.     

Peer responses to a team's weakest link: A test and extension of LePine and Van Dyne's model.

This article reports research intended to assess and extend a recent theory of peer responses to low-performing team members (J. A. LePine & L. Van Dyne, 2001a). An instrument that assesses 4 types of peer responses to low performers (compensating for, training, motivating, and rejecting) was developed and then cross-validated in a subsequent study. Results of the study supported the validity of the peer responses measure and were generally consistent with the attributional theory of peer responses. Low-performer characteristics influenced the peer responses. These effects were mediated in part by peer attributions, affect, and cognitions, which explained variance in the peer responses over and above the variance explained by respondents' personality characteristics (i.e., The Big Five). 基于高抗热震性能的陶瓷刀具材料的微观结构设计

本文以现有的抗热震断裂和抗热震损伤的评价理论为基础，通过对材料中微裂纹的长度进行预测，从而实现了对陶瓷刀具材料的抗热震性能的微观结构设计。根据此理论对现有材料的抗热震性能的进行预测，预测结果与实际的测量结果相符，验证了该理论的正确性。     

晶体硅薄膜电池制备技术及研究现状

晶体硅薄膜太阳电池近些年来得到广泛的研究和初步的商业化探索。根据所采用的晶体硅薄膜沉积工艺中温度范围的不同，晶体硅薄膜电池研究可分为高温路线和低温路线两个不同发展方向。本文分别从这两个方向综述了目前国外晶体硅薄膜电池制备技术的最新进展，最新实验室研究结果。报导了晶体硅薄膜电池商业化进展状况，指出了晶体硅薄膜电池实现产业化必须解决的问题。     

Fabrication and Characterization of Two‐Photon Polymerized Features in Colloidal Crystals

The fabrication and characterization of two‐photon polymerized features written within and outside of colloidal crystals is presented. Two‐photon polymerization (TPP) response diagrams are introduced and developed to map the polymerization and damage thresholds for features written via modulated beam rastering. The use of tris[4‐(7‐benzothiazol‐2‐yl‐9,9‐diethylfluoren‐2‐yl)phenyl]amine (AF‐350) as an initiator for TPP is demonstrated for the first time and TPP response diagrams illustrate the polymerization window. These diagrams also demonstrate that the polymerization behavior within and outside of colloidal crystals is similar and electron microscopy reveals nearly identical resolution. Fluorescence confocal microscopy further enables visualization of non‐self‐supporting, three‐dimensional TPP features within self‐assembled photonic crystals. Finally, microspot spectroscopy is collected from a two‐photon feature written within a colloidal crystal and this is compared with simulation.     

混联法氧化铝生产中熟料窑节能降耗的研究

通过对熟料窑的热工综合测试，分析了熟料窑的能耗组成和影响能耗的关键因素，总结了技术改造带来的经济效益和生产中存在的问题，提出了进一步挖潜降耗的措施。     

模拟焊后热处理对锅炉用钢板SA-299力学性能的影响

对新日铁供货的SA-299钢板取样进行了供货状态及610～650℃/8h炉冷的模拟焊后热处理,以进行力学性能对比试验。试验结果表明,经过630℃/8h炉冷的模拟焊后热处理后σs降低25～40MPa、σb降低55～65MPa,但力学性能符合ASMESA-299标准和采购规程C1F19-98的要求。     

中原边际小断块油田油气集输工艺配套技术探索

介绍了中原边际小断块油田开发建设以来几种油气集输工艺配套技术的成功应用，并从节能降耗、工艺合理匹配、提高系统效率等方面阐述了其他适于边际小断块油田油气集输工艺的配套技术。
