运用变分原理和打靶法将分布参数系统的非线性边值问题转化为集总参数系统的初值问题,基于延拓算法,研究了固定床中球形固定化酵母粒子表面乙醇和葡萄糖浓度随参数的变化关系,得出了单颗粒固定化酵母生产乙醇的多定态特性。结果表明:随系统尺度三的变化,方程出现分岔点;方程的解与液相主体浓度有关。在某些条件下酵母粒子表面浓度有三个定态:在多定态区域,随三的增加,方程一个解支的乙醇浓度迅速增加,从而可以在固定床中通过控制粒径而使反应器达到较高的产率。研究结果为固定床反应器的开工及控制提供了重要的理论依据。 相似文献

The wireless connectivity in pervasive computing has ephemeral character and can be used for creating ad hoc networks, sensor
networks, connection with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags etc. The communication tasks in such wireless networks
often involve an inquiry over a shared channel, which can be invoked for: discovery of neighboring devices in ad hoc networks,
counting the number of RFID tags that have a certain property, estimating the mean value contained in a group of sensors etc.
Such an inquiry solicits replies from possibly large number of terminals n. This necessitates the usage of algorithms for resolving batch collisions (conflicts) with unknown conflict multiplicity n. In this paper we present a novel approach to the problem of collision resolution for batch conflicts. We show how the conventional
tree algorithms for collision resolution can be used to obtain progressively accurate estimation of the multiplicity. We use
the estimation to propose a more efficient binary tree algorithm, termed Estimating Binary Tree (EBT) algorithm. The EBT algorithm
is suited for implementation when the conflicting nodes are passive, such as e.g. RFID tags. We extend the approach to design
the Interval Estimation Conflict Resolution (IECR) algorithm. For n→∞ we prove that the efficiency achieved by IECR for batch arrivals is identical with the efficiency that Gallager’s FCFS
algorithm achieves for Poisson packet arrivals. For finite n, the simulation results show that IECR is, to the best of our knowledge, the most efficient batch resolution algorithm reported

In this work, a Weiner-type nonlinear black box model was developed for capturing dynamics of open loop stable MIMO nonlinear systems with deterministic inputs. The linear dynamic component of the model was parameterized using orthogonal Laguerre filters while the nonlinear state output map was constructed either using quadratic polynomial functions or artificial neural networks. The properties of the resulting model, such as open loop stability and steady-state behavior, are discussed in detail. The identified Weiner-Laguerre model was further used to formulate a nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) scheme. The efficacy of the proposed modeling and control scheme was demonstrated using two benchmark control problems: (a) a simulation study involving control of a continuously operated fermenter at its optimum (singular) operating point and (b) experimental verification involving control of pH at the critical point of a neutralization process. It was observed that the proposed Weiner-Laguerre model is able to capture both the dynamic and steady-state characteristics of the continuous fermenter as well as the neutralization process reasonably accurately over wide operating ranges. The proposed NMPC scheme achieved a smooth transition from a suboptimal operating point to the optimum (singular) operating point of the fermenter without causing large variation in manipulated inputs. The proposed NMPC scheme was also found to be robust in the face of moderate perturbation in the unmeasured disturbances. In the case of experimental verification using the neutralization process, the proposed control scheme was found to achieve much faster transition to a set point close to the critical point when compared to a conventional gain-scheduled PID controller. 相似文献

Peculiarities in catalytic activity in carbon monoxide oxidation as well as some structure, electronic and magnetic properties of the three oxide catalysts, Mn3+–O/Al2O3 (1), Mn3+–O–Fe/Al2O3 (Mn-substituted spinel, 2) and -Fe2O3/Al2O3 (3), were studied by kinetic measurements and by Mössbauer spectroscopy. The catalysts 1 and 2 showed a kinetic bistability with a sharp transition towards more reactive state at 200°C (ignition point). In contrast, for catalyst 3, at 200–250°C, the behavior of reaction rate against temperature did not display noticeable hysteresis. On cooling the catalysts 1 and 2, extinction was observed at about 170 and 120°C, respectively, i.e., at 30–80°C lower than the corresponding ignition points. Proximity of activation energy for the high and low activity (15–19 kJ/mol) for both Mn-containing catalysts suggests an increase in the number of active sites at high temperature with no changes in the reaction mechanism. The considerable difference between Mn-containing catalysts 1, 2 and Fe-containing catalyst 3 may be caused by Jahn–Teller (JT) type distortions of the oxygen polyhedron around Mn3+. A significant spontaneous axial bond stretching within the local polyhedron seems to diminish Mn–O binding energy, facilitate the participation of surface oxygen species, OS, in the oxidation of CO by a redox mechanism and promote oxygen vacancies at the surface that would cause considerable effect on the activity. An increase in the width of the counterclockwise hysteresis loop for the catalyst 2 compared to the catalyst 1 indicates that clusters of mixed spinel provide more active sites and more labile OS species than clusters of the binary Mn oxide. 相似文献

The impact of steady-state multiplicities on the control of a simulated industrial scale methyl acetate reactive distillation (RD) column is studied. At a fixed reflux rate, output multiplicity, with multiple output values for the same reboiler duty, causes the column to drift to an undesirable steady-state under open loop operation. The same is avoided for a fixed reflux ratio policy. Input multiplicity, where multiple input values give the same output, leads to “wrong” control action under feedback control severely compromising control system robustness. A new metric, rangeability, is defined to quantify the severity of input multiplicity in a steady-state input–output (IO) relation. Rangeability is used in conjunction with conventional sensitivity analysis for the design of robust control structures for the RD column. Results for the two synthesized control structures show that controlling the most sensitive reactive tray temperature results in poor robustness due to low rangeability causing “wrong” control action for large disturbances. Controlling a reactive tray temperature with acceptable sensitivity but larger rangeability gives better robustness. It is also shown that controlling the difference in the temperature of two suitably chosen reactive trays further improves robustness of both the structures as input multiplicity is avoided. The article brings out the importance of IO relations for control system design and understanding the complex dynamic behavior of RD systems. 相似文献
