In this paper, we analyze the performance of cognitive amplify‐and‐forward (AF) relay networks with beamforming under the peak interference power constraint of the primary user (PU). We focus on the scenario that beamforming is applied at the multi‐antenna secondary transmitter and receiver. Also, the secondary relay network operates in channel state information‐assisted AF mode, and the signals undergo independent Nakagami‐m fading. In particular, closed‐form expressions for the outage probability and symbol error rate (SER) of the considered network over Nakagami‐m fading are presented. More importantly, asymptotic closed‐form expressions for the outage probability and SER are derived. These tractable closed‐form expressions for the network performance readily enable us to evaluate and examine the impact of network parameters on the system performance. Specifically, the impact of the number of antennas, the fading severity parameters, the channel mean powers, and the peak interference power is addressed. The asymptotic analysis manifests that the peak interference power constraint imposed on the secondary relay network has no effect on the diversity gain. Performance analysis of two‐hop decode‐amplify‐forward relayed system in different fading conditions
Recent advances in the field of wireless communication have proven the importance of diversity in combating channel fading and improving the bit error rates (BERs). In this report, a dual‐hop decode‐amplify‐forward (DAF) transmission system over Nakagami‐m fading channel is studied. The DAF relay system is a hybrid of decode‐and‐forward and amplify‐and‐forward relay systems that shows the benefits of both decode‐and‐forward and amplify‐and‐forward relay systems and is also called hybrid relay system or hybrid DAF relay system. Signal‐to‐noise ratios and BERs for various system models with varying number of transmit and receive antennas have been discussed. The diversity is achieved in two ways: firstly, by the use of relay and secondly, by the use of multiple antennas at both the transmitter and the receiver. Dual‐hop relaying gives better trunking efficiency and with single antenna at the relay site acquisition and antenna structures are much less expensive. The variations in the performance levels when the relay is moved to different locations within the line of sight of the transmitter and the receiver have also been analyzed. 在AR2000ex型流变仪上对沉淀碳酸钙(Precipitated calcium carbonate,PCC)在PEG(聚乙二醇)悬浮体系进行稳态剪切流变实验。通过2种方法来改变分散体系黏度:1)以PEG200(相对分子质量为200)为连续相,分散体系以10℃为间隔从10℃上升至50℃;2)在30℃用相同的聚合物3种不同相对分子质量的PEG(PEG200、PEG400和PEG600)。结果表明随着温度升高,PCC/PEG200分散体系的临界剪切速率越来越大。在剪切增稠区内流动指数N随温度升高而降低,稠度系数K随着温度升高而升高。临界剪切速率以及临界剪切黏度与温度严格满足Arrhenius关系:η=A exp[Ea/(RT)]。研究发现随温度的变化临界剪切应力不变。随着PEG的相对分子质量增加,分散体系的黏度增加,临界剪切增稠速率减小。PCC粉末的分形结构以及聚集体的形貌使得体系的相对黏度远大于硬球体系的相对黏度。 相似文献

This study describes the equilibrium, kinetics, and thermodynamics of the palladium(II) (Pd(II)) adsorption onto poly(m‐aminobenzoic acid) (p‐mABA) chelating polymer. The p‐mABA was synthesized by the oxidation reaction of m‐aminobenzoic acid monomer with ammonium peroxydisulfate (APS). The synthesized p‐mABA chelating polymer was characterized by FTIR spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography (GPC), thermal analysis, potentiometric titration, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis methods. The effects of the acidity, temperature, and initial Pd(II) concentration on the adsorption were examined by using batch adsorption technique. The optimum acidity for the Pd(II) adsorption was determined as pH 2. In the equilibrium studies, it was found that the Pd(II) adsorption capacity of the polymer was to be 24.21 mg/g and the adsorption data fitted better to the Langmuir isotherm than the Freundlich isotherm. The kinetics of the adsorption fitted to pseudo‐second‐order kinetic model. In the thermodynamic evaluation of the adsorption, the ΔG° values were calculated as ?16.98 and ?22.26 kJ/mol at 25–55°C temperatures. The enthalpy (ΔH°), entropy (ΔS°), and the activation energy (Ea) were found as 35.40 kJ/mol, 176.05 J/mol K, and 61.71 kJ/mol, respectively. The adsorption of Pd(II) ions onto p‐mABA was a spontaneous, endothermic, and chemical adsorption process which is governed by both ionic interaction and chelating mechanisms. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Achieving tight tolerances for multiple properties of a single product becomes a key issue. This study presents an investigation on birefringence and warpage of thermoplastic lenses prepared using microinjection molding, aiming to identify the significant factors, and simultaneously control both properties for optical applications. The birefringence along the flow changed more drastically than that in the cross-flow direction. Meanwhile, two warpage shapes of the lenses could be observed and their formation mechanisms were discussed. The simultaneous control of both properties was accomplished through multi-objective optimization using the desirability function approach.
