纸质媒体生存危机探析

在综合分析国内外报纸的生存现状调查资料的基础上,提出传统纸质媒体所面临的生存危机：受众的大量流失是其市场生存的最大危机,广告收入的下降及发行成本的上升促使其采取减少发行量和报纸涨价的无奈选择,由此可能进入受众流失——广告收入下降——减少发行量——报纸涨价——更多的受众流失的恶性循环。此外互联网、手机等新媒体的迅猛发展将加速传统纸质媒体的衰微。     

从传播学角度探讨对外宣传材料英译的原则——以北京奥运会对外宣传材料为例

本文应用传播学理论，结合北京奥运对外宣传材料，提出对外宣传翻译应遵循的两大原则，从而开拓对外宣传翻译的研究视野，有效指导翻译实践。     

Melodrama and film noir on today's big screen: How modern audiences experience yesterday's classics.

In the 1940s and 50s, melodrama was described as "the lady's film," whereas men were the supposed fans of film noir. No empirical studies were conducted with filmgoers of that era to validate such claims. This study examined responses of modern-day audiences comprising 16 females and 16 males to these classic genres. An experimental montage technique was developed to compare problem and solution scenes excerpted from 4 melodrama and 4 film noir movies. Participants rated each scene on fifteen 5-point scales related to cognitive and emotional responses and interpreted the meaning of each scene open-endedly. Quantitative analyses indicated that subjects were more sensitive to the character's emotions in melodrama, found this genre to be more complex, and were more apt to experience personal memories. Qualitative analyses revealed that subjects were more aware of the character's emotions and were more likely to identify with the character in melodramas. Interactions showed that participants judged the solution scenes in film noirs to be unrealistic and criticized the main character's actions. 数字电视节目推荐系统结构及推荐算法研究

针对数字电视信息过载问题进行了数字电视节目推荐系统的结构和推荐算法研究。构造了包含信息摄取单元、系统分析单元和推荐信息发送单元的数字电视节目推荐系统结构。提出了节目类型分析法,采用节目类型阈值和节目类型聚类两种形式,分别实现了根据经验值的人工分级和任意簇数的自动聚类,达到了有效寻找观众收视兴趣与所观看节目之间的联系的效果。提出了收视行为分析法,采用收视个体行为分析和收视群体行为分析两种形式,通过观众收视数据推测观众收视兴趣,实现了给观众个体或群体推荐感兴趣的电视节目的目的。     

科学松鼠会的传播内容偏向和受众关注偏向的调查研究

通过对科学松鼠会微博、博客、网站的内容和受众关注内容的主题分类进行统计分析,发现两者都偏向关注生物、健康、医学等类别,即传播内容的偏向与受众关注的偏向具有一致性。同时,通过对科学松鼠会主编"游识猷"(网名)的采访调查和对其微博粉丝的问卷调查,深入分析科学松鼠会的传播者和受传者分别在各自偏向的形成过程中所起的作用,以及这两种偏向的关系,并为其他综合性科普网站提供一定的借鉴。

Applications of psychology to television programming: Formulation of program objectives.

Asserts that in preparing objectives of television programming for children the instructor must (a) recognize the needs and interests of his/her audience and (b) match them to his/her educational purposes.
