(Ta2O5)1-x- (TiO2)x (TTOx) thin films, with x = 0, 0.03, 0.06, 0.08, and 0.11, were deposited using magnetron direct current (DC) sputtering method onto the P/boron-silicon (1 0 0) substrates by varying areas of Tantalum and Titanium metallic targets, in oxygen environment at ambient temperature. The as-deposited thin films were annealed at temperatures ranging from 500 to 800 °C. Generally, the formation of the Ta2O5 structure was observed from the X-ray diffraction measurements of the annealed films. The capacitance of prepared metal– oxide– semiconductor (MOS) structures of Ag/TTOx/p-Si was measured at 1 MHz. The dielectric constant of the deposited films was observed altering with varying composition and annealing temperature, showing the highest value 71, at 1 MHz, for the TTOx films, x = 0.06, annealed at 700 °C. With increasing annealing temperature, from 700 to 800 °C, the leakage current density was observed, generally decreasing, from 10?5 to 10?8 A cm?2, for the prepared compositions. Among the prepared compositions, films with x = 0.06, annealed at 800 °C, having the observed value of dielectric constant 48, at 1 MHz; and the leakage current density 2.7 × 10?8 A cm?2, at the electric field of 3.5 × 105 V cm?1, show preferred potential as a dielectric for high-density silicon memory devices.  相似文献

This study presents the development and characterization of PVDF-conjugated polymer nanofiber-based systems. Five different conducting polymers (CPs) were synthesized successfully and used to create the nanofiber systems. The CPs used are polyaniline (PANI), polypyrrole (PPY), polyindole (PIN), polyanthranilic acid (PANA), and polycarbazole (PCZ). Nanofiber systems were produced utilizing the Forcespinning® technique. The nanofiber systems were developed by mechanical stretching. No electrical field or post-process poling was used in the nanofiber systems. The morphology, structure, electrochemical and piezoelectric performance was characterized. All of the nanofiber PVDF/CP systems displayed higher piezoelectric performance than the fine fiber PVDF systems. The PVDF/PPY nanofiber system displays the highest piezoelectric performance of 15.56 V. The piezoelectric performance of the PVDF/CP nanofiber systems favors potential for an attractive source of energy where highly flexible membranes could be used in power actuators, sensors and portable, and wireless devices to mention some.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Fossil fuel resource is on the draining stage which leads to an increment in the cost of the petroleum products. Nowadays, research is focused on the development of environmental friendly lubricants which are derivatives of renewable sources. Inedible plant oil-driven bio-lubricants are environmentally friendly because they are non-hazardous, biodegradable, as well as there is no emission of toxic gases. This study involves the characterisations, advantages, as well as utilisation of inedible plant oil-driven bio-lubricants as an alternative for tribological applications. This report presents the status about the global lubricant market as well as potential outlook. Inedible plant oil-driven bio-lubricants bear high viscosity, high lubricity, and high viscosity index which can enhance the equipment service life and has the ability to carry high load and results in minimum amount of metal traces during combustion.  相似文献

A dendritic-benzimidazole (D-BI) has been prepared using polyphosphoric acid (PPA) as a condensing medium with diaminobenzidine (DAB), 1,3,5-benzene tricarboxylic acid, and isophthalic acid as monomers. The structure of D-BI was ascertained by elemental analysis, FTIR, 1H NMR, and solid-state 13C-NMR. The D-BI was incorporated into polysulphone (PSf) by blending with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP K-30) as a macromolecular additive. The membranes were cast by phase inversion technique. The physical properties such as surface morphology and the chemical properties such as contact angle and the performance attributes, such as NOM rejection, salt rejection, and pure water flux were studied. It is imperative that the infusibility of rigid polymeric backbone is overcome by the introduction of polar moieties with no compromise on thermal stability. The membranes displayed substantial increase in thermal stability with D-BI content. The marginal increase in flux has been attributed to the branching and steric effect of D-BI. This is because the introduction of polar group efficiently affords to stabilize the adjacent aromatic rings. The salt rejection shows the order of MgSO4 ≈ Na2SO4 > MgCl2 > NaCl, which follows that the divalent ions are rejected more than monovalent ions. The antifouling behaviour was also significant as the irreversible fouling (RIr 9%), which was found to be minimal for D-BI-incorporated membrane. The blended membranes exhibited good hydrophilicity, antifouling, and fairly good rejection of salts.  相似文献
