This paper addresses the adaptive tracking control scheme for switched nonlinear systems with unknown control gain sign. The approach relaxes the hypothesis that the upper bound of function control gain is known constant and the bounds of external disturbance and approximation errors of neural networks are known. RBF neural networks (NNs) are used to approximate unknown functions and an H-infinity controller is introduced to enhance robustness. The adaptive updating laws and the admissible switching signals have been derived from switched multiple Lyapunov function method. It’s proved that the resulting closed loop system is asymptotically Lyapunov stable such that the output tracking error performance and H-infinity disturbance attenuation level are well obtained. Finally, a simulation example of Forced Duffing systems is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme and improve significantly the transient performance.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of adaptive neural network (NN) tracking control of a class of switched strict‐feedback uncertain nonlinear systems is investigated by state‐feedback, in which the solvability of the problem of adaptive NN tracking control for individual subsystems is unnecessary. A multiple Lyapunov functions (MLFs)–based adaptive NN tracking control scheme is established by exploiting backstepping and the generalized MLFs approach. Moreover, based on the proposed scheme, adaptive NN controllers of all subsystems and a state‐dependent switching law simultaneously are constructed, which guarantee that all signals of the resulting closed‐loop system are semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded, and the tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin. The scheme provided permits removal of a technical condition in which the adaptive NN tracking control problem for individual subsystems is solvable. Finally, the effectiveness of the design scheme proposed is shown by using two examples.  相似文献

This paper studies the issues of adaptive passification and global stabilization for a class of switched nonlinearly parameterized systems. Each subsystem is allowed to be non‐feedback passive. Firstly, a passivity concept for switched nonlinear systems is proposed. In particular, the change of storage functions of an inactive subsystem is described. An adaptively feedback passive switched nonlinear system is shown to be stabilized under the partly asymptotic zero‐state detectability assumption. Secondly, the adaptive feedback controller for each subsystem and a state‐dependent switching law are designed to render the resulting closed‐loop system passive. Finally, a new switched adaptive control technique is developed to solve the adaptive stabilization problem by exploiting the recursive feedback passification design technique and parameter separation technique when all subsystems have any same relative degree. The simulation results on adaptive stabilization of continuously stirred tank reactor system show effectiveness of the proposed design method. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

An adaptive neural network (NN)-based output feedback controller is proposed to deliver a desired tracking performance for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems, which are represented in non-strict feedback form. The NN backstepping approach is utilized to design the adaptive output feedback controller consisting of: (1) an NN observer to estimate the system states and (2) two NNs to generate the virtual and actual control inputs, respectively. The non-causal problem encountered during the control design is overcome by using a dynamic NN which is constructed through a feedforward NN with a novel weight tuning law. The separation principle is relaxed, persistency of excitation condition (PE) is not needed and certainty equivalence principle is not used. The uniformly ultimate boundedness (UUB) of the closed-loop tracking error, the state estimation errors and the NN weight estimates is demonstrated. Though the proposed work is applicable for second order nonlinear discrete-time systems expressed in non-strict feedback form, the proposed controller design can be easily extendable to an nth order nonlinear discrete-time system.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of robust stabilization and tracking control for a class of switched nonlinear systems via the multiple Lyapunov functions (MLFs) approach. First, a state feedback controller and a state dependent switching law are designed to globally asymptotically stabilize the switched system via linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The main objective of this paper is to develop a tracking control approach that assures global asymptotic output and state tracking with zero tracking error in the steady state. Then, the tracking control is formulated such that the robust H tracking performance is achieved. Finally, a simulation example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the main method.  相似文献

The paper presents a direct adaptive control architecture for a class of nonlinear dynamic systems, which are either ill defined or rather complex. The direct adaptive architecture employs radial basis function (RBF) neural network (NN) systems to reconstruct the ideal feedback linearization control. With the modified adaptation algorithm proposed herein, the on-line function approximation capability of the RBF NN a system is enhanced to remove the auxiliary control term and switching element in a conventional RBF-NN-based controller; simultaneously, the tracking performance is upgraded. Global asymptotic stability of the on-line algorithm is established in the Lyapunov sense to guarantee that the tracking error can converge to a small neighbourhood of the origin. Simulation validations for an inverted pendulum system are finally performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed controller and the theoretical discussion.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of adaptive output feedback tracking for uncertain switched nonlinear systems, under arbitrary switching. First, an adaptive output feedback controller is designed, which ensures the boundedness of all the closed-loop signals. Then, a novel adaptive-based robust output feedback control is proposed to drive the tracking error to zero, in which the bound of disturbances is not required to be known in advance. Both control algorithms are based on the common Lyapunov function method, without any restrictions on dwell time. To evaluate the performance of the proposed output feedback control schemes, a numerical example is presented and discussed.  相似文献

We investigate the problem of robust adaptive tracking by output feedback for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems. Based on the high‐gain scaling technique and a new adaptive law, a linear‐like output feedback controller is constructed. Only one dynamic gain is designed, which makes the controller easier to implement. Furthermore, by modifying the update law, the adaptive controller is robust to bounded external disturbance and is able to guarantee the convergence of the output tracking error to an arbitrarily small residual set. A numerical example is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, we present an adaptive neural network (NN) controller for uncertain nonaffine systems with unknown control direction. Most of the previous NN‐based controllers included a damping term in the adaptive law of NN weights to ensure the closed‐loop stability. The estimated error of the NN weights as well as the tracking error were therefore increased, relying not only on the size of the NN approximation error but also on the ideal NN weights. Compared with those, the proposed controller evades using the damping term through combining a novel adaptive algorithm and a switching mechanism to update the weights. The NN thus can directly approach a target controller with satisfactory accuracy even if the control direction is unknown. Stability analysis shows that the tracking error and the estimated error of NN weights both converge to small neighbors of 0 which solely depend on the NN approximation error. At last, simulations on a Duffing‐Holmes chaotic model show the effectiveness of the proposed controller in comparison to another NN‐based method.  相似文献

In this paper, we focus on the problem of adaptive stabilization for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear systems, whose non-switching part consists of feedback linearizable dynamics. The main result is that we propose adaptive controllers such that the considered switched systems with unknown parameters can be stabilized under arbitrary switching signals. First, we design the adaptive state feedback controller based on tuning the estimations of the bounds on switching parameters in the transformed system, instead of estimating the switching parameters directly. Next, by incorporating some augmented design parameters, the adaptive output feedback controller is designed. The proposed approach allows us to construct a common Lyapunov function and thus the closed-loop system can be stabilized without the restriction on dwell-time, which is needed in most of the existing results considering output feedback control. A numerical example and computer simulations are provided to validate the proposed controllers.  相似文献

This paper addresses the state‐tracking model reference adaptive control problem for a class of switched systems with parametric uncertainties, where switchings between subsystems and designed adaptive controller are asynchronous. First, we establish a stability criterion for a switched reference model and convert the state‐tracking problem into the stability problem of an error switched system. Then, an adaptive law is designed, and the global practical stability of the error switched system is guaranteed under a class of switching signals characterized by a dwell‐time condition. An electrohydraulic system is given as an example to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed design method. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel framework to asymptotically adaptively stabilize a class of switched nonlinear systems with constant linearly parameterized uncertainty. By exploiting the generalized multiple Lyapunov functions method and the recently developed immersion and invariance (I&I) technique, which does not invoke certainty equivalence, we design the error estimator, continuous state feedback controllers for subsystems, and a switching law to ensure boundedness of all closed‐loop signals and global asymptotical regulation of the states, where the solvability of the I&I adaptive stabilization problem for individual subsystems is not required. Then, along with the backstepping method, the proposed design technique is further applied to a class of switched nonlinear systems in strict‐feedback form with an unknown constant parameter so that the I&I adaptive stabilization controllers for the system is developed. Finally, simulation results are also provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.  相似文献

This paper proposes an online adaptive approximate solution for the infinite-horizon optimal tracking control problem of continuous-time nonlinear systems with unknown dynamics. The requirement of the complete knowledge of system dynamics is avoided by employing an adaptive identifier in conjunction with a novel adaptive law, such that the estimated identifier weights converge to a small neighborhood of their ideal values. An adaptive steady-state controller is developed to maintain the desired tracking performance at the steady-state, and an adaptive optimal controller is designed to stabilize the tracking error dynamics in an optimal manner. For this purpose, a critic neural network (NN) is utilized to approximate the optimal value function of the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equation, which is used in the construction of the optimal controller. The learning of two NNs, i.e., the identifier NN and the critic NN, is continuous and simultaneous by means of a novel adaptive law design methodology based on the parameter estimation error. Stability of the whole system consisting of the identifier NN, the critic NN and the optimal tracking control is guaranteed using Lyapunov theory; convergence to a near-optimal control law is proved. Simulation results exemplify the effectiveness of the proposed method.   相似文献

The H control of a class of the uncertain switched nonlinear cascaded systems with time delay is explored in this paper via the multiple Lyapunov functions. The considered systems are assumed to comprise an inherently nonlinear and a linearizable nonlinear dynamic system that may be non‐minimum phase. A group of partial differential inequalities containing adjustable functions are used in the control design task. The state feedback controllers and a suitable switching law are designed simultaneously so as to achieve the desired disturbance attenuation while preserving asymptotic stability for all admissible uncertainties. The partial differential inequalities are of lower dimension than general Hamilton–Jacobi inequalities, and therefore the solving process is feasible. This particular technique is applicable even if no subsystem is asymptotically stable. The non‐minimum phase property is compensated for by means of an appropriate switching mechanism. A robust H control for non‐switched cascade system with time delay is obtained in addition. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed design method.

In this paper, we investigate the stability analysis problem of switched impulsive nonlinear systems and several stabilization problems of switched discrete‐time linear systems are studied. First, sufficient conditions ensuring globally uniformly asymptotically stability of switched nonlinear impulsive system under arbitrary and DDT (dynamical dwell time which defines the length of the time interval between two successive switchings) switching are derived, respectively. In the DDT switching case, we first consider the switched system composed by stable subsystems, then we extend the results to the case where not all subsystems are stable. The stabilizations of switched discrete‐time linear system under arbitrary switching, DDT switching and asynchronous switching are investigated respectively. Based on the stability analysis results, the control synthesis consists of controller design for each subsystem and state impulsive jumping generators design at switching instant. With the aid of the state impulsive jumping generators at switching instant, the ‘energy’ produced by switching can be minimized, which leads to less conservative results. Several numerical examples are given to illustrate the proposed results within this paper. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the global stabilization problem for switched nonlinear systems in lower triangular form under arbitrary switchings. Two classes of state feedback controllers and a common Lyapunov function (CLF) are simultaneously constructed by backstepping. The first class uses the common state feedback controller which is independent of switching signals; the other class utilizes individual state feedback controllers for the subsystems. As an extension of the designed method, the global stabilization problem under arbitrary switchings for switched nonlinear systems in nested lower triangular form is also studied. An example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper studies the stabilization problem of switched linear systems with bounded disturbances. It is assumed that the system switches among an infinite set of uniformly controllable linear systems, and that the switching signals are not observable, but the switching duration has a lower bound. It will be shown that by combining on-line adaptive estimation and control in the controller design, a feedback control law can be constructed which makes the switched linear system globally stable.  相似文献
