Ka波段螺旋线大功率行波管在大容量的通信系统中具有重要作用,本文介绍了目前大功率连续波螺旋线行波管的现状,对相关技术进行了分析。通过对高频结构的互作用分析、热分析、多级降压收集极等分析,设计了一个Ka波段连续波500 W行波管的螺旋线互作用结构,计算机模拟结果表明可以满足设计要求。 相似文献

针对行波管慢波结构热分析的必要性,介绍了螺旋线慢波结构的热产生机理,结合ANSYS软件设计了可对不同翼片加载和不同形状夹持杆的螺旋线慢波结构进行热特性分析的专用仿真环境。利用该仿真环境,用户可以在不掌握ANSYS软件的情况下对螺旋线行波管慢波结构的热特性进行模拟计算。 相似文献

In millimeter wave band, interaction impedance and efficiency of the ring-bar circuit are higher than helix. Ring-bar traveling wave tubes (TWTs) do not easy yield backward wave oscillation at high operating voltages. Thus ring-bar TWTs can reach higher power lever. On basic of computation of dispersion and interaction impedance, a fast estimation models of RF parameters for MMW ring-bar TWTs are given in this paper. A computation technique for gain, efficiency and output power in broadband millimeter wave helix TWTs from their dimensions is described. The market situation of space traveling wave tubes (TWTs) over the last four years is reviewed. It is exemplified that space TWTs are not only the key components for the traditional frequency ranges in C- and Ku-band, but also for new satellite communication systems as digital audio broadcasting in the lower L- and S-band frequency range and the planned, new global multimedia systems. There, Thomson Tubes Electroniques GmbH (TTEG) has developed the new family of Ka band TWTs, which provide the large bandwidth and power requirements for high data rate transmission. TTEG is also developing 60-GHz TWTs as RF intersatellite-links for global satellite systems. Traveling-wave tubes (TWTs) consist of several sections with different helix pitch to provide the required small-signal gain. An extensive study aiming to improve the comprehension of the effect of the helix pitch manufacturing tolerances on the TWT small-signal gain has been completed. The obtained results demonstrate the relevant impact on the TWT small-signal gain when the helix pitch deviates from its nominal value and allow devising a tuning procedure for the realized tubes. 相似文献
