Photoluminescence spectrum, trap depths, and densities of trapped carriers of CaAl2O4:Eu phosphor crystals doped with rare‐earth elements were studied using the thermally stimulated luminescence technique. Trap depths and densities of the specimens vary with rare‐earth elements doped as the auxiliary activators. Tm and Nd are found to be effective for the strong afterglow phosphorescence peaking at λ = 442 nm for several hours after the excitation. CaAl2O4:Eu phosphor crystals doped with Nd and Tm include high density of carriers trapped at E = 0.59 and 0.52 eV, respectively.  相似文献

Supporting both WCDMA with HSDPA and GSM/GPRS/EDGE, the 9.3 times 9.3 mm2 SoC fabricated in triple-Vth 65 nm CMOS, has three CPU cores and 20 separate power domains. Unused power domains can be powered down to reduce the leakage power. Partial clock activation scheme especially focused on music playback scene dynamically stops a PLL and clock trees when not necessary and reduces power consumption from 33.6 mW to 19.6 mW. IP-MMU translates virtual address to physical address for 18 hardware-IPs and virtual address space can be allocated when necessary and can be freed after its operation, reducing external memory by 43 MB. Video performance of D1 (720 times 520) size with 30 frames per second for MPEG/AVC decoding and encoding can be achieved under mixed virtual and physical address usage.  相似文献

We investigated slip and unstable flow phenomena of polystyrene melts in capillaries from the view of the effects of temperature and molecular weight by using three polystyrene samples with different molecular weights (Mw = 192,000, Mw = 258,000, and Mw = 321,000). The slip velocities are estimated by the Mooney method and the modified Mooney method. We found that the slip velocity increases and the critical slip stress above which a slip starts to occur decreases with the temperature. We also observed the melt-fracture at above a critical melt-fracture stress higher than . We found that the onset of melt fracture is affected by the extensional stress near the entry region to the capillary in the barrel and the melt-fracture tends to easily occur with increase of the molecular weight, but is not sensitive to the temperature.  相似文献

After allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (allo-BMT), recipient alveolar macrophages (AM) are gradually replaced by AM of the donor origin. An influx of mononuclear phagocytes of donor origin to the lung is responsible for the repopulation, but the detailed kinetics remain unclear. We therefore studied 24 BMT recipients who underwent bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) from 24 to 83 days after BMT. AM cell number, size, morphology, proliferating ability, and genotype of AM were measured. Before day 50, the number and size of AM in BAL fluid were similar to those of normal nonsmokers. However, after day 50, the mean number of AM increased threefold and the mean cell size decreased due to the increase of small AM. These small cells are presumably of donor origin based on DNA fingerprinting analysis and based on fluorescence in situ hybridization for the Y chromosome in a sex-mismatched case. Immunohistochemistry and cell cycle analysis demonstrated that the increase in AM number coincided with a remarkable increase of AM expressing proliferating cell nuclear antigen, suggesting that small AM are proliferating. This is the first report representing that augmented proliferation of donor AM in situ may contribute to the reconstitution of AM population after BMT.  相似文献

This paper describes three circuit technologies indispensable for high-bandwidth multibank DRAM's. (1) A clock generator based on a bidirectional delay (BDD) eliminates the output skew. The BDD measures the cycle time as the quantity charged or discharged of an analog quantity, and replicates it in the next cycle. This achieves a 0.18-mm 2, two-cycle-lock clock generator operating from 25 to 167 MHz with a 30-ps resolution. (2) A quad-coupled receiver eliminates the internal skew caused by the difference between a rise input and a fall input by 40%. (3) An interbank shared redundancy scheme (ISR) with a variable unit redundancy (VUR) efficiently increases yield in multibank DRAM's. The ISR allows redundancy match circuits to be shared with two or more banks. The VUR allows the number of units replaced to be variable. The alpha-amylase of Streptomyces sp. IMD 2679 was subject to catabolite repression. Four different growth rates were achieved when the organism was grown at 40 degrees C and 55 degrees C in the presence and absence of cobalt, with an inverse relationship between alpha-amylase production and growth rate. Highest alpha-amylase yields (520 units/ml) were obtained at the lowest growth rate (0.062 h-1), at 40 degrees C in the absence of cobalt, while at the highest growth rate (0.35 h-1), at 55 degrees C in the presence of cobalt, alpha-amylase production was decreased to 150 units/ml. As growth rate increased, the rate of specific utilisation of the carbon source maltose also increased, from 46 to 123 micrograms maltose (mg biomass)-1 h-1. The pattern and levels of alpha-glucosidase (the enzyme degrading maltose) detected intracellularly in each case, indicate that growth rate effectively controls the rate of feeding of glucose to the cell, and thus catabolite repression.  相似文献

Artificial illumination is an important factor in the management of layers. In this study, a new monochromatic light system was developed for egg layers. Prelaying pullets (Lohmann) were marked and housed in nine light and temperature control rooms (15 battery cages, 3 hens per cage; n = 45), divided into three light treatments: 0.1 and 0.01 W/m2 light intensity using light emitting diode (LED) lamps and 0.1 W/m2 using mini-fluorescent bulbs (PL) (control). In each of the LED rooms, three wavelengths were tested: 560 (n = 9), 660 (n = 9), 880 (n = 6), and 660 intermitted lighting (15 min light 45 min dark, 660IN) (n = 9). Birds were exposed to 12 h light and 12 h of darkness using PL lamps. At 21 wk of age, the light period was increased to 12.75 h by using 5.5 h of LED lamps and 7.25 of PL light source for Groups 1 and 2, the third group received 12.75 h of PL light. Until 28 wk of age, light hours increased by 0.5 h/w using LED light for Groups 1 and 2 and PL source for the third group, reaching 16 h of light at 28 wk of age. Egg production and feed consumption were recorded daily; egg components were recorded weekly for 10 mo. A significant reduction in egg production was observed in all 880nm groups; no differences in egg production and quality were found in the other groups. Feed consumption was significantly lower by 7% in all 0.01 W/m2 groups. We suggest that an important reduction in rearing costs of laying hens may be obtained by using this system.  相似文献

To detect cytomegalovirus-associated interstitial pneumonia (CMV-IP) in recipients of BMT in its earliest stage, five CMV methods were assessed for their usefulness using bronchoalveolar lavage fluid as the test specimen. Of the 43 cases enrolled in the study, PCR was positive in 12 cases, shell vial in eight, culture in eight and cytology in three. There were no positive cases in in situ hybridization. Based on this result, the 43 cases were classified into four groups: Group 1, three cases: positive in PCR, shell vial and cytology; Group 2, five cases: positive in PCR and shell vial; Group 3, four cases: positive only in PCR; and Group 4, 31 cases: negative in all CMV tests. Cases in Group 1 were judged as having the highest risk of overt CMV-IP. They were successfully treated with a combination of ganciclovir and immunoglobulin. Group 2 was diagnosed as having active CMV infection and ganciclovir monotherapy was effective for these patients. Groups 3 and 4 were not given anti-CMV therapy, but they were free from CMV-related manifestations throughout the study. The sensitivity and specificity of each survey method for the detection of Groups 1 and 2 were 1.0 and 0.89 in PCR, 1.0 and 1.0 in shell vial, 0.88 and 1.0 in culture, and 0.38 and 1.0 in cytology. Similarly, the positive and negative predictive values were 0.67 and 1.0 in PCR, 1.0 and 1.0 in shell vial, 1.0 and 0.97 in culture, and 1.0 and 0.88 in cytology. Thus, CMV survey on bronchoalveolar fluid was thought to be useful in detecting post BMT CMV-IP in its earliest stage.  相似文献
