The behaviour of microbial populations responsible for degradation of the aromatic compounds, phenol, benzoate, and salicylate, and changes of microbial community structures in seawater microcosms were analysed quantitatively and qualitatively using MPN–PCR and PCR–DGGE. The purpose of the study was to investigate the ecology of the entire microbial community during bioremediation. Bacterial populations possessing catechol 1,2-dioxygenase (C12O) DNA were evidently the primary degraders of phenol and benzoate, but others possessing catechol 2,3-dioxygenase (C23O) DNA increased to enhance substrate degradation under high-load conditions when the substrates were present for long periods. However, salicylate degradation was evidently facilitated by specific bacterial populations possessing C23O DNA. PCR–DGGE analyses suggested that bacterial populations already relatively dominant in the original microcosm contributed to phenol degradation. Bacteria composing a minor fraction of the original population apparently increased and contributed to benzoate degradation. Bacterial populations possessing C23O DNA were responsible for salicylate degradation, however, and different degrading bacteria were evidently selected for, depending on the initial salicylate concentration. Microbial community structure tended to be simplified by aromatic compound degradation. Thus, microbial monitoring can elucidate the behaviour of bacterial populations responsible for aromatic compound degradation and be used to assess the effects of bioremediation on intact microbial ecosystems. 相似文献

Bulk heterojunction solar cells utilizing soluble phthalocyanine derivative, 1,4,8,11,15,18,22,25-octahexylphthalocyanine (C6PcH2) have been investigated. The active layer was fabricated by spin-coating the mixed solution of C6PcH2 and 1-(3-methoxy-carbonyl)-propyl-1-1-phenyl-(6,6)C61 (PCBM). The photovoltaic properties of the solar cell with bulk heterojunction of C6PcH2 and PCBM demonstrated the strong dependence of active layer thickness, and the optimized active layer thickness was clarified to be 120 nm. By inserting MoO3 hole transport buffer layer between the positive electrode and active layer, the FF and energy conversion efficiency were improved to be 0.50 and 3.2%, respectively. The tandem organic thin-film solar cell has also been studied by utilizing active layer materials of C6PcH2 and poly(3-hexylthiophene) and the interlayer of LiF/Al/MoO3 structure, and a high Voc of 1.27 V has been achieved. 相似文献

We study population dynamics of a trapped spin-1 Bose gas above the Bose-Einstein transition temperature. Starting from the semiclassical kinetic equation for a spin-1 gas, we derive coupled rate equations for the populations of internal states. Solving the rate equations, we study the dynamical evolution of spin populations. We also estimate the characteristic timescale in which the system reaches equilibrium. Finally, we briefly discuss the extension of the theory to Bose-condensed phase below the Bose-Einstein transition temperature, and discuss the static equilibrium condition for the spin-1 system. 相似文献

Metal fluoride added carbon anodes treated by pre-electrolysis were investigated for electrolytic production of nitrogen trifluoride (NF3) in molten NH4F·KF·4HF at 100 °C. The conditions for pre-electrolysis were first optimized using a graphite sheet anode as a model anode. The formation of fluorine-graphite intercalation compounds (fluorine-GICs) with semi-covalent C–F bonds, (CxF)n, on the MgF2 and CaF2 added carbon anode surface was accelerated by pre-electrolysis at potentials less than 4.0 V. Critical current densities (CCD) on the MgF2 added carbon anodes pre-electrolyzed under various conditions were determined, and the highest CCD was 290 mA cm−2 obtained for that pre-electrolyzed at 3.5 V for 500 C cm−2. This anode was successfully used in the electrolysis at 100 mA cm−2 for 290 h and the maximum NF3 current efficiency was 55%. From these results, it was concluded that the metal fluoride added carbon anode treated by pre-electrolysis has a high potential for electrolytic production of NF3 at higher current density. 相似文献

It has been reported that elongated Au nanoparticles oriented parallel to one another can be synthesized in SiO2 by ion irradiation. Our aim was to elucidate the mechanism of this elongation. We prepared Au and Ag nanoparticles with a diameter of 20 nm in an SiO2 matrix. It was found that Au nanoparticles showed greater elongated with a higher flux of ion beam and with thicker SiO2 films. In contrast, Ag nanoparticles split into two or more shorter nanorods aligned end to end in the direction parallel to the ion beam. These experimental results are discussed in the framework of a thermal spike model of Au and Ag nanorods embedded in SiO2. The lattice temperature exceeds the melting temperatures of SiO2, Au and Ag for 100 ns after one 110 MeV Br10+ ion has passed through the middle of an Au or Ag nanorod. 相似文献

Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio of SiC ceramics at temperatures >1400°C were obtained using a laser ultrasonics method that included a Fabry-Pérot interferometer (LUFP). At temperatures <1000°C, Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio measured using the LUFP method agreed well with those measured using standard contact methods, such as the resonance method and the ultrasonic pulse method. These results showed that the LUFP method is a powerful tool for measuring high-temperature elastic properties of advanced ceramics in a noncontact manner. 相似文献
