In this paper, we present a new PID control technique based on auto-tuning neurons for multivariable systems. The main difference between an auto-tuning neuron and a general neuron is that there are adjustable parameters of the activation function used in an auto-tuning neuron. In this paper, a modified hyperbolic tangent function is used as the activation function of an auto-tuning neuron, which provides two adjustable parameters to flexibly determine the magnitude and the shape of function. We then use such auto-tuning neurons to find gains of the multivariable PID controller, which is tuned on-line according to certain adaptation laws. Finally, two illustrative examples will be used to compare the performance by using our proposed method and other methods. 相似文献

在煮糖过程中人为因素对出糖数量和质量都有很大的影响,而蔗糖结晶过程难以建立准确的数学模型使得传统的控制方法无法实现精准控制,在总结经典PID控制和已经实际应用的蔗糖结晶过程模糊控制理论的基础上,提出了采用模糊推理对PID控制器参数进行自整定,加入改进粒子群算法对控制器过程参数进行优化调整,完成融入PSO算法的蔗糖结晶过程模糊控制器的设计,利用每次控制输出反馈自整定来提高控制器性能;通过Matlab软件模拟仿真测试效果表明,该方法增强了系统鲁棒性,可以提高出糖的品质。 相似文献

Fault tolerant control of dynamic processes is investigated in this paper using an auto-tuning PID controller. A fault tolerant control scheme is proposed composing an auto-tuning PID controller based on an adaptive neural network model. The model is trained online using the extended Kalman filter (EKF) algorithm to learn system post-fault dynamics. Based on this model, the PID controller adjusts its parameters to compensate the effects of the faults, so that the control performance is recovered from degradation. The auto-tuning algorithm for the PID controller is derived with the Lyapunov method and therefore, the model predicted tracking error is guaranteed to converge asymptotically. The method is applied to a simulated two-input two-output continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) with various faults, which demonstrate the applicability of the developed scheme to industrial processes. 相似文献

P, I and D control mode in three adjustable functional control zones. An auto-scaling procedure has been incorporated to generalize
the autotuning scheme to efficiently respond to any set-point change outside a pre-defined operating span. In contrast to
existing auto-tuning algorithms, the proposed scheme is not an on-demand auto-tuning methodology and hence does not require
alertness of an experienced engineer to initiate and supervise its initial operation in a separate commissioning identification
pre-test. This interesting feature provides a new perspective on PID auto-tuning approaches. Performance of the proposed auto-tuning
scheme is practically evaluated in a real pilot plant within a networked control system (NCS) configuration, realized by industrial
Ethernet and Foundation Fieldbus technologies. An extensive series of test scenarios has been conducted to explore efficiency
of the proposed auto-tuning methodology to cope with fixed and varying operating set-points under uncertain and variable network
